I watched 10+ of these reviews. This hands-down was the best one. Nice review 😎

What an awesome tour you gave your viewers. The amount of work you put into the review didn't go unnoticed.

It seems hiconsumption may have done too much praise for this but trust me, this is the golden standard when it comes to travel backpack.

Here's a tip - tell us what you don't like about it, otherwise it's more of an ad than a review.

Great review. I’m considering it as a personal bag for traveling. My carry on can’t handle 3 pairs of shoes lol. Great to see you shot this at the ChinaTown Station lol

Love the way it looks and the features. Would snatch it up in a heartbeat if it came in colors other than black. Too easy to overlook in a dark hotel room, etc.

Hello, what is the name of the packing cubes?

It looks great and has allot of features, but can it hold enough for 1-2 weeks of travel in winter? This is my main concern as I compare with Peak Design and Cotopaxi. I can't find a review that shows realistic amount of clothes and gear placed each of the three bags. One review stated the Are Travel pack 3 did not hold the same as the two mentioned above, but did not specify the amount t of clothes used in the evaluation.

    6:10 question about this,
How secure is it? The place that this passport goes in. I get that its easy access, but my mother and I are particular about security. At this point we would just put the passport in the main compartment that has the lock (except it isnt the one where there are organizational things where youd slide in a power bank or wires or small bottle)
Is it really meant for passports?

Is this the large or the small? I feel like the large might be too big for EDC. Thoughts? 6’0 tall here.

They're Aer's Medium and Small packing cube, so 12.5x10x4 inches and 12.5x7x4, respectively

Which is better for 10-12 day one-bag travel, this or Peak design 45 L? thanks

    • @detectivejonesw
      @detectivejonesw ปีที่แล้ว +1

I would go with this. You can fit everything you need in 35L, and this has a lot of advantages over PD imo. Better laptop compartment, better easy access pockets, smaller, more comfortable harness system. You can still easily fit 1 small and 1 medium PD packing cube in this main compartment, which is tons of clothes. The build quality of aer is incredibly high.

I realize your question is a couple months old, but I have the TP2 and the Peak Design. I'm guessing the TP3 shown here isn't really that much larger than the TP2. Between the TP2 and the Peak, the Peak does fit more, main compartment is larger. The top compartment is a little larger and expands to take it from 35l to 45l. However, I find that a little odd to use the additional 10 liters and don't love the way it adds the weight out away from your body. When packed out, it can be tough to fit in some overhead plane compartments. I consider the Peak really a larger 35l bag, not a true 45l.
I used the TP2 this past weekend after not using it for a while and really enjoyed revisiting it. I do think it carries better / is more comfortable. Both are very well made. This is a tough call, but if you are wanting for space, the Peak will give you more of that.
I've been also looking at the new (ish) Tortuga 40l and wonder if that wouldn't hold just a bit more and in a better way than the Peak. I've been one bagging for years and being a runner, usually take running clothes and gear with me, so use more space that I would otherwise. So far I've been able to make these bags work with some thought. Depends on your priorities and space requirements. Best of luck!

hilarious 😂😂😂 “there’s a palpable utility about the travel pack that can only be experienced…first hand” “in person, it puts on a Masterclass in backpack potential”

I feel like this bag is doing too much. So many zippers and buckles. They also need more colors and variety.

Hence “travel.” Also, they’re minimalist colors. See other brands if you don’t like it.
