I'm not very good at drawing, so I've bought loads of washi tape and stickers and decorative paper and things to do more scrapbook-style layouts, but I'm also not very good and layering or conceptualizing (yet!). It's great to see what you were able to come up with, which is inspiring me to keep working on my skills! I don't have the patience to learn to draw better, mostly because I get extremely frustrated by the disconnect between the image in my head and the product that comes out, but this scrapbook style is definitely something I can do with some practice!

I’m also starting a bullet journal in September for my fall semester at uni since it runs from September to December!! Glad I’m not the only one setting up a journal rn haha
I also do a four-month bujo! if I keep with my habit (and typically I do), I will fill a notebook right to the last page in four months, but with this last journal, I had a terrible four months and barely filled half of it. I decided that I needed a fresh start, though, so I’m setting up a new one! here’s to fresh starts!
So glad I remembered you had posted this, just got a B5 but I had no idea just how much bigger it would be from A5! I got mine from Scribbles That Matter and it came with a custom dot ruler that shows and lines up where good divisions are on the pages!
Tip for using glue sticks: Get a magazine or scrap paper. Put glue on the thing over the magazine or scrap paper. When the scrap/page gets too sticky, flip to a new page. Makes glue sticks easy to clean and gives nice crisp edges.
I love the idea of the magazine and just being able to flip to another page if it gets too messy! That’s genius 😄 if I ever find myself having to use a glue stick again, I know exactly what I’m going to do 💪 thanks for the tip! 💜

20:00 my new books x2 will probably arrive tomorrow (cross fingers I don’t have to wait ’til Tuesday) 1st one bujo & 2nd for ref, considering a third for scraps, tip ins & experimenting, etc… I’m abandoning Erin Condren/Happy Planner (mum’s) and Kikki K/diyFish (mine) due to $$$. Your’s and a few other TH-camrs have made it so much less daunting and I’m starting to get inspired. I think I have that vintage style paper pad, made mini album from it, still have scraps leftover. Off I go and practice some doodling for my new books.
I find my process to be more of a reset because I’m not necessarily reflecting on the week but more so getting myself back to a “neutral” state in a way 😛 💜

Your "Love Bugs" theme is SO cute! I really love it, though I am not sure about b6. Looks a bit small for my liking. You might want to buy regular sticker paper for your printer. That way you can just print out your stuff and stick it in, without using that many tape rollers. I use a4 label-stickers nowadays and just cut out to size. Works like a charm.
Very cute. I always do 5 weeks on dailies (include days from months at the beginning and/or the end of the month). If i'm not feeling the last week of a month or the first week of the month I choose which spread I like better.. lol, idk if that makes sense.

I would love to know an alternative of the Archer & Olive Neapolitan notepad product. I find it too pricy for my liking and all I'd personally need is the white dot grip paper to make my flip outs from. I don't want to cut pages of my main bullet journals when I need all of them. So if anyone knows an alternative of this same product, I'd love to know for my flip-out needs ;o;

It was quite a change moving to the bigger size of the B5, though I did eventually find a groove with it (...only then to move into the tiny B6, haha)
