I really liked this place, or rather I liked the stories. I found the well of the skull interesting because the landscape is beautiful but also because of the history as well. The chapel of Santa Quitéria is really quite old but I found it well preserved due to the containment of years built. I am impressed the inhabitants are taking care of their city very much. Desenvolvi um trabalho no garimpo, com apoio do ex Deputado Octávio Elísio, para Comissão de Mineração da Assenbleia Nacional Constituinte. O Dep Engenheiro de Minas e Professor e Doutor era filho de garimpeiro do distrito. Ocupou várias secretárias no Gov. de Minas Gerais. Octávio Elísio faleceu em Março de 2022.

Eu sou de natural de OP apesar de não residir lá atualmente, mas me lembro muito bem destas paisagens porque viajava de trem de OP a Miguel Burnier para chegar em Lafaiete.
Me recordo de muitas coisas bonitas nesse trajeto.
Não sei se ainda existem os trilhos da estrada de ferro e se você eventualmente fez ou vai fazer algum vídeo mostrando essa relíquia.
