Matas Buzelis and Rob Dillingham is a dream draft 👌 Matas at 4. He is a must beside Wemby

I agree with Matas at 4 and I highly doubt Dillingham will be available at 8.
@@GamingWithZoom Who would take Dillingham before 8? Sarr's going to Atlanta. The Wizards probably take Risacher or Topic. Houstons almost guaranteed to take Sheppard. Spurs could take someone like Castle or Buzelis. Pistons, Hornets, and Blazers would want a wing, forward, or center (Clingan). None of those teams would have interest in Dillingham. The only team that would take Dillingham before 8 besides us is the Wizards but they could go any way possible.
I have a feeling the Spurs is going to take Rob at 4 maybe they might look into Zach if he is still available at 4 but i dont see a world Spurs take Matas at 4 and for 8th i like Ron Holland the upside is their and i feel he can be really good in the NBA. If Ron Holland is still available at 8th if i am the Spurs i would 100% take him.
How about the Spurs trade the 4th pick and 8th, then grab Rob Dillingham who's touted to be around the 6th and Jared McCain who's touted to go after the Top 10 Lottery in the high teens (14-19 or so). McCain feels like the sleeper of the draft overall. Matas Buzelis was touted pre-season as a potential #1 overall pick, but I'm not sure if he's worth the risk if the pics can be traded to get Dillingham/McCain and picks/players from another team that fills the bench with role players since the Spurs have good starters. It's supposed to be a weak "anything goes" no hands down consensus rankings draft. I'd consider trying to get Pistorn's players who are young and promising and do a trade with them or the Rockets.
I think Rob Dillingham is a top 4 pick. And I really want Matas.

Not sure how I feel about him yet.
Zach can’t play make, I’d want Shepard, Rob, Clingan to help soften Wemby workload & increase our defense efficiency. Take a flyer on Bronny (primo) type of shocker pick 🤷🏻
Whatever big man we get I want them to have a decent 3 point shot.

Why not draft Zach Edey? He thoroughly outplayed Clingan when their teams played each other and from what I heard and read way outshone him in every way at the combine. (bigger, longer, faster, higher vertical, shot better from all over the court …) Further, Zach is simply a significantly better basketball player than Clingan. After all, it was Zach, not Clingan that was named National Player of the Year in both 2023 and 2024! Anyone thinking of picking Clingan would be well served to take Edey instead. Talking about twin towers! P. S. Zach is not slow of foot as some claim. He was faster than many of the players at the combine who people are talking about drafting before him. People's impression of him has a lot more to do with how his collegiate team used him than how good he is on the basketball court.
