He's just playing the melody on his guitar. I'm sure it's not meant to be a cover of Jeff Beck's version, but I'll have to give it a listen now. Such a great song
No solo me gusta esta pelicula en verdad me encanta, una muy buena recopilación de esta grandiosisisima banda que hasta la fecha siguen dando de que hablar
It's all good. The people that dislike this video don't have an ear for beatiful harmonies. I keep wishing that someone comes along with the amount of talent that they had, and all understanding harmonies in a very different artistic level than most others even when they were without very much professional teaching. Across the Universe definitely cought the heart behind the music, and I'm grateful for it having been made, since it spiked my interest in the Beatles. Cheers, and enjoy to all that feel the talent in this music.
I read the news today, oh boy About the lucky man who made the grade And though the news was rather sad Well I just had to laugh, I saw the photograph He blew his mind out in a car He didn't notice that the lights had changed The crowd of people stood and stared They've seen his face before, nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords I saw a film today, oh boy The English Army had just won the war The crowd of people turned away Well I just had to look, having read the book I'd love to turn you on [Paul's solo and the last part are lacking]
A Day in the Life is my favorite Beatles song. I love how they did it here.
That's Jeff Beck, and it was produced and orchestrated by Sir George Martin himself
RIP Jeff Beck. Love the movie . One of the best movies, of all time! A must to see!
I have seen the movie at least 20 times and have the special DVD. An Absolute Must to watch!!

Really wish this was a track on the movie soundtrack
It isn't on the soundtrack. Although there is an instrumental cover by Jeff Beck of A day in the life that is amazing and sounds just like this track
No guitar guitar gently weeps or dear prudence....
i don't even care if i jinx it, but I'm so happy that after 3 years of having this up it still hasn't gotten a dislike
Almost 6 years now
xLEGENDSZz Now there are 5 :(

Rest In Peace, Jeff Beck😭
Yes!! I love his version.
I thought it was the other side that dropped bombs...
It's Jeff Beck's song, it's credited to him playing in the tracklist.
I have heard Beck's version and this is different. It may be his arrangement but it is a different take or someone else is playing it.
It’s credited as being performed by George Martin in the credits
Performed by George Martin

I think this would be right when Judes sitting on the beach alone where in order...the song Girl would play
he´s only playing the melody of A day in the life from Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart´s Club Band Album in his guitar

Opening To Arocss The Universe 2003 DVD
Actually, it's the Jeff Becks' version of the song ^^
Soy yo o este tipo es demasiado parecido a McCartney?
no dislikes ...thats the way it should be ...and the way it is
tab for this plz
yes, this is maybe the best track of this movie with i want you, but the revolution version on this movie is a shit.
I think it fits well into the movie the way that it's used, but yeah, it's not as good on its own.
I read the news today, oh boy
About the lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh, I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
The crowd of people stood and stared
They've seen his face before, nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords
I saw a film today, oh boy
The English Army had just won the war
The crowd of people turned away
Well I just had to look, having read the book
I'd love to turn you on
[Paul's solo and the last part are lacking]
@CamusCris Eres tú
Why have soliders watch the news? Wouldn't that make them feel worse?
