    Absolutely stunning footage. Very sorry to hear about the setback but you made it back safely, and your system is dialed for next time or a different adventure. Thanks for the inspiration!

      Thank you!! Yeah we’ll learn and grow from it for sure. Just a tough one to swallow right now

    Sorry you didn't summit, the same had happened to me on a couple of climbs. As you undoubtedly know, mountaineering is 33% luck, 33% fitness, 33% timing .
    Absolutely stunning footage and a great video.

      @@juanmckelvey Thank you for your kind words. It’s definitely a tough one to get over, but you’re exactly right. We’ll be back! Thank you for watching!

    Sorry that happened to you guys. I've been in a similar situation in that we made it to Camp 4 by day 3 and then top of the fixed lines (on a rest day)... then we got weathered in for about a week and had to come back down. I think of Denali often and may like to go back some day with the right crew. We had a crazy downclimb from 4 to 3 including one nerve-racking crevasse fall and felt very glad to get down safely and home to our families. Mountain will still be there!

      Wow! Sounds like a heck of an adventure. This one is tough to swallow at the moment given how much effort we put into training (as I’m sure you’ve done yourself). But you’re right, mountain will still be there! Thanks for watching and your comment!

    Thanks for sharing this video. What cameras did you use?. Seems like a high quality video. Did you think about bringing a gopro or a DSLR for video shooting?

    • @marriedmountaineers
      @marriedmountaineers  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hnshanan thanks for watching! Believe it or not, it’s all shot on an iPhone. We didn’t want to bring a DSLR bc it’s just too heavy as we were already carrying enough weight haha. And a GoPro can be done we just weren’t completely sure how the batteries would do in the extremely cold temps

    I know I mentioned this frequently but I learned that geography classes in some other countries teach people that Denali & Aconcagua are on the same continent.

      @@marriedmountaineersYeah, especially since Denali is more closer to the Tian Shan mountains in Central Asia then it is to the Andes.

    It's just Denali, not "Mount Denali".

    Why's the video feel more like a green-screen CGI movie?
