Oh my, Crystal, you are so brave and patient! I'm exhausted watching you but I also have been working a lot of hours, so maybe that's part of it! LOL. Was hoping to bake some cookies, love PB Blossoms, they are my fav, but will have to work all day Monday, so unless I do it Sunday, I think it may not happen! Madden's hair looks great, and Macie is such a great helper in the kitchen. Those twins and their sprinkles, are so funny! Trust me, all the traditions you have with your children are what they will remember about the Holidays. And what one child doesn't remember, another will. So fun! Take care and take a break this weekend!

Crystal, I just want to commend you for being a great example of a wife, mother and homemaker. You seem to be so loving with your children and caring about their needs. Truly, God has blessed you and your home. On top of that, I find you to have beautiful, classic taste. You inspired me when I watched your video on decorating your bedroom for Christmas. U did a great job , boy do I remember making all these Cookies too n the cut outs were a chore takes longer n all the frosting n spreckkes what a mess later to clean up n I made three kinds of fudge too.... Well I haven't done any of it since my kids are Adults now n there making them now for there families... My favorite thing to bake is chocolate chip cookies kinda like everyone but I love them so much!!❤️ Just wanted to let you know I’m almost done with your package but I’m on disability and can only buy a little at a time so it might be closer to the first week of January but it’s coming! I love Snickerdoodles. They are my favorite.
Our children are grown now but our son always request my butterfinger cookies, they where his favorite as a kid and now as a adult. Butterfinger candy bars chopped up and added to sugar cookie mix. Chewy and so sweet I only make them at Christmas!
PB blossoms r my favorite. I buy the premade pb dough. After i put the kisses on, i move them to the freezer for about 10 min. so the kiss doesn't melt. You did good!! Lots of yummy treats!
Madden looked handsome with his hairdo. You are one brave mother to have the kids helping you bake cookies,especially the twins. I would have gone crazy.

The pretzels dipped in white chocolate and almond bark with a peppermint Hershey kiss on top is so yummy. Dipped in chocolate works too.

I can't say it enough...so blessed to have found you! I get such joy and peace from hanging out with you and your sweet family! You're a great mom and have such a beautiful family. Loved watching the kiddos decorate cookies and eat some too....lol! Hey...if you think you're eating a cooking made with little ones and you're not getting a bit of germs you're just all kinds of messed up. Haahaa! It's just part of it. ;) Favorite cookie to make that is super simple is called cool whip cookie......it takes a cake mix too and cool whip and powdered sugar! They just kinda crack all over the top....but that is Exactly what they are supposed to do! Merry Christmas sweet family! Thanks for taking us along today.
Cake mix, 1 egg, cool whip, food coloring, powdered sugar, and vanilla! You just get white cake mix, add food coloring to it, egg, vanilla, and cool whip and bake....powdered sugar is for top of cookies. I tried to send pic but wouldn't work.....Super simple and sooo pretty with Christmas colors in the mix! I bet you all will love them if you loved the cake cookies you just made. ;)

I do laundry every single day. No routine, it just keeps coming and I just keep washing. LOL
I read an interesting tip on a Pinterest sugar cookie recipe. You know how hard it is to roll out after it’s been chilled for 3 hours, she rolls the dough out first between wax paper and then chills it. I guess the purpose of chilling it is so the cookie keeps it shape. I might try that next year. I always make Christmas crack. My son’s favourite and sooo easy. I tried a new recipe called Christmas melts aways with spreadable butter. So good and you don’t have to cut it out into shapes. You’re such a good mom, Crystal and I need another coffee from just watching you woman. 🍪☕️🎄
Ok, now I want to try that next year. Rolling out the dough is the worst!

Crystal as I'm watching you I'm making chocolate pretzels but I made the kiss cookies the other day and when they came out of the oven one fell total apart and I thought what did I do wrong I forgot the shortening it didn't effect the taste but boy was I mad 🤨 Merry Christmas 🌲

Sugar cookies!! Omg I'm having a mom fail morning! I have a 11month old who hasen't been sleeping. So I was baking at 2am, I conquered the cupcakes for my daughter's Christmas party but I fell asleep, waiting for my cookie dough to soften. Woke up to kids fighting, about nothing. Than forgot the teachers gifts at home.😕 feeling kind of salty now.
Ugh, Marissa!! I would have ran to the grocery store and just bought the cupcakes. LOL! Tis the season for fighting kids too. Hope your day is getting better.

I am SO going to make the cake mix cookies. Going to see my daughter and grandchildren (all 4 are teenagers) ages 14-17(14 yr old are identical twins) so we're going to have fun making cookies that I saw you make. Did you make cookie dough cookies?

Easiest cookie EVER! Cake mix cookies. I Googled the recipe and like to use yellow cake mix, create a thumbprint and fill with raspberry jam. Once they’re baked and cooled, I drizzle the top with melted white chocolate. Sooo good! I’ve also used devil’s food cake mix and filled with peanut butter then drizzle with melted chocolate.
I'm glad your cookie baking/decorating was a big success! We'll be doing ours this weekend & the peanut butter blossoms are always a staple for us. You have so much patience decorating with 4 kids. I can barely do it with 2 kids LOL! Have a great weekend!

Thumbprint cookies are one of my favorite cookies during the holidays. Your pretzels look delicious, I’m sure they will go in a snap. I think both batches of your thumbprint cookies looked good and I’m sure the kids won’t complain. The cutout cookies came out great! Your frosting with powdered sugar is a bit thicker than mine is but the recipes are similar. I didn’t notice if your’s had lemon juice in it or not. I use a shortbread cookie for cutout cookies. My sugar cookies are too thick and crumbly and scoop out instead of roll out. The cookies came out great and you had less “accidents” especially with two toddlers decorating than expected 😂

Where did you get your cookie scoop? I was looking at some on amazon a couple of days ago but I couldn't make up my mind. I'll be doing most of my baking Sunday when my husband will be home to help with my 1yr old. I have been looking forward all week to making saltine toffee or what some call "christmas crack". If you wait a couple of minutes after taking the peanut butter cookies out of the oven before putting in the kisses, they will be less likely to melt and will hold up better.

A tube of sugar cookie dough and miniature snickers. Roll the dough around the snickers to form a ball. Roll the ball in colored sugar and bake. 350 degrees under 10 minutes. I have no official recipe but it’s a favorite!

How would you explain the taste/ consistency of the cake mix cookie? Is it soft and fluffy like a cake or similar to like a sugar cookie consistency?
After they cooled, I would explain them more like a sugar cookie consistency. Not "cakey" at all!
