Who ever invented Pandora knows how to make money. They marketed on the deepest reason for jewelery-sentimental value. Then they added a game to it- collect meaningful charms! Smart. Then they sell you things to care for the bracelet separately (like the clips for even weight distribution or a cleaning pack) . So now it's like your baby. Smart.

Great video - I’m fairly new to Pandora collecting (I only have 5 charms) but was never recommended the clips - i’ll definitely be looking into these. Also a safety chain ad my teenage daughter (who had more charms than me!), wore hers to school a while back and her bracelet came undone - she ended up losing 3 charms including her favourite Stitch charm. 😢
I love Pandora bracelets I have one myself, Yes... They are very expensive, but it's meant to be built over time from celebrations, certain occasions etc.. also when building your bracelet it is important to find a knowledgeable employee to help you in store.. my mother and husband went to get a few pieces for mine, the employee seemed disinterested and therefore gave them no information on what exactly they were looking for, I told them what to look for and she still sent them in the wrong direction... I needed clips! Clips help with building it, even if you don't have a lot of beads is like she said it adds symmetry and I think it helps with the functionality of the bracelet as you build it over time it balances out the bracelet. I don't think it's good even with just a few beads for them to all slide to one side as it will cause stress on the clasp, Also if anyone is interested I would suggest a safety chain as it keeps your bracelet together and from beads slipping off in the meantime!! 😊
I used to work at Pandora and the kink in the bracelet is not necessarily from not having clips. I've had clips on my bracelet from day one as well as a safety chain as soon as they came out with those (which does help with putting your bracelet on), but I have a kink in my bracelet too. Regardless of clips, the weight of the charms affects the bracelet, and especially if your bracelet is full. Not only can you get a kink on your bracelet, but with the weight of the charms your bracelet will also stretch a little bit.
Yes, very true and good advice! That's why I suggest trying to balance the weight evenly around the bracelet too. This also helps prevent kinks from forming! Yes, snake chains stretch about .5 to 1 cm :D That's so cool you used to work at Pandora!
I only shop when they send me a coupon through my email or buy only the beads on sale. Plus it brings me joy so instead of buying coffee or going out to dinner all the time, I save for pandora. 💕

I like to put a spacer next to the clasp so none of the charms get twisted on the groove. And at the end or the opening of the bracelet I put a clip just so none of the charms twist off. I do that because I don’t really like using the safety chain and it keeps all my charms on the bracelet without worrying of them coming off. Just a tip that I do.

My brother's and I got my mom a pandora bracelet with mostly pink and white and pink ribbons for her when she started her cancer treatments about 12 yrs ago. She recently passed, and I was passed down here bracelet. I have found a charm that says mom with angel wings. But I was unsure if I could add more due to the 2 grove things under the clips. I'm thankful to have your videos to help learn more about the bracelet.. Hopefully I will be able to add more charms to remember my mom..

Georgia Norris So excited you are going to be getting your first Pandora Bracelet!!!! What charms do you think you’ll pick out for first? I would say I would look into investing in clips after 2-4 charms are on your bracelet. That being said, Pandora also has quite a few bracelets now that you don’t have to have clips for either! ALSO!!! I would encourage you (if you can), to wait for a Pandora sale or promotion! This will save you money/and or get you a free charm or bracelet. Basically, you can get more for your dollar spent! One of my blogger friends, The Art of Pandora often lists upcoming promotions in different countries. I haven’t heard of any promotions, just yet... but usually Pandora does something for Valentine’s Day! Just a tip because whenever I treat myself to Pandora, I always wait for a sale or promotion!!!! But!!! You might also be really excited to get a bracelet and might not want to wait any longer! Totally get that too!

2:20 If you don't wear the bent bracelet anymore - you might be able to sell it back to Pandora for a few dollars. I think they recycle jewellery and can melt it down to make new ones.
I got mine for my 19th birthday from my boyfriend with two rose gold "stoppers" and a rose gold heart. Then for my next birthday he got me a little tree charm which you can open and it says "family forever"❤️ since then i just added one as a memory to our trip in dubai and the little hogwards as a memory to our trip to london and the harry potter studios ❤️😍 now i will continue this with every place we visit together

I do wear two bracelets together. A typical layered look for me is: two moments bracelets paired with a leather bracelet in-between! Or sometimes a moments bracelet, bangle and leather bracelets. I really love stacking them! I also love wearing such a single moments bracelet on one wrist with a leather bracelet on the other wrist. :D :D What about you?!!!

For the bangles, I recommend getting a silicone clip!!! They prevent the charms from falling off. The safety chain doesn't work so well for the bangle, as it makes it harder to put on! You technically can do it, but a clip is much better and easier!!!!

I got my first pandora bracelet about 2/3 weeks ago and I only have 1 charm and a safety chain on it. I am going to get clips for it but as I'm only 12, I have to save up my pocket money so it might take a while. How long do u think it takes before it goes weird and brakes? It is an awesome group where you can find exclusive or retired Pandora pieces! And Tiedyedeb on eBay is an authentic Pandora seller and I'm pretty sure she would have them. Only thing is, she's based in the states, so depending where you are, it might be pricy with duty. Awe, thank you! Mike Jones that is so sweet of you. She will love it!!! If you pick the moments bracelet (This is the most popular style) I personally would recommend picking out one special charm and two clips. The clips add a lovely finishing detail and the charm can stay centered in the middle. This is a gift you can continue to add to, but for special occasions or "Just because" moments. This would be my top recommendation! Another bracelet that is really lovely and very comfortable is the open bangle. It can accommodate quite a few charms, but has a beautiful look to it, no matter how many charms are on it. It comes with two spacers that act like clips and center the charm(s) in the middle. If you are in the US, the states is having a promotion, this weekend called the "buy more, save more". It's a great time to buy Pandora, if you're thinking of getting one! Hope this helps! Hello, I just found your channel. I just bought my first pandora bracelet and I’ve watched your video and thank you for the tip with the clips. I have a question. If my bracelet doesn’t have the groove things your referring too on my bracelet, will the clips still stay in place? I’m like you, the store didn’t mention clips so I didn’t know to invest in clips. My first Pandora bracelet is a bangle (the Harry Potter snitch one) and I just wondered. Bangles look less likely to fall off/the charms to fall off, plus the clips (unless I am missing something) won’t stop the charms from moving? Sorry, complete newbie!

I always wear my bracelets, but I do take them off when showering, working out, cleaning, before bed, etc. I do recommend keeping your Shine pieces either in a air tight ziplock bag or one of those ivory Pandora bracelet jewellery bags (hopefully, you know the one I mean!) When the bracelet starts to look more dull, less shiny is when you know there's some build up. The Shine collection is so beautiful. Which bracelet did you pick out?
I have the gold plated Shine bracelet with a gold heart and a plated ring with hearts...I'm so obsessed with Pandora but I find it difficult to put it back on after showering! Maybe in the future I'll invest on the actual gold one so that I don't have to take it off. Thank you for the reply though
Oooh, I know what you mean about putting them back on! They can be tricky! Have you tried wearing the bracelet with a safety chain? I swear by those, they make it a bit easier to put the bracelet on, as it helps hold it it place! Awe, I have debated about getting one of the 14K gold bracelets, but they just seem soo overpriced and I find it so hard to justify. Recently, they increased their prices and they went up even more and I was like...but but! Why? haha. Maybe one day, I'll be able to justify it, ;) I hope you have a lovely weekend! xx

davian reiss you don't need to have clips on the bangle or fabric bracelets, but they do have rubber stoppers and special clips to go on these types. They are great to keep your charms in place and prevent them from sliding around.
I recommend getting clips as soon as you can, to help the bracelet stretch evenly. I always get them, with a new bracelet. If you don't want to get clips, right away, after 2-3 charms. The new bracelet is quite stiff and will begin to relax, as you wear it
Hello my charm bracelet has clip holders but i got two clips with silicone grip and put them near the places of the clip holders is that okay too or should i invest in the ones that fit in the clip holders

Hello Jennifer! That is so sweet of him! If you just have two charms and no clips on the bracelet, you don't need to worry about balancing them, just yet! I personally love the safety chain, I find it's most helpful to put on the bracelet, but I do not think it is a necessary item. If there bracelet were to break, it mostly likely won't be in the clasp area. A lot of people purchase an additional clip to put on the end of the bracelet, to stop charms from falling off. I personally love the two tone gold and silver look! I think it looks beautiful! I've always been a big fan, but you have to do what looks the best for you! It's all about your personal style and taste...that's what I love about the Pandora concept! Have a great weekend!

Love your bracelets they are so pretty. I have two pandora bracelets, my first one actually has a bend in the middle and I have clips on it since The day I bought it. The bracelet actually came with the small bend on it. 😏 now I have more charms on it and I'm worried it could break. I only need a few more to fill it up. Could pandora actually repair that ? I would take it back to Pandora, as it is on warranty for a year and they should be able to replace it for you! It's actually pretty noticeable, if you remove the charms from the bracelet and close it, it's not a round shape like it should be it kind of makes the bracelet fold in the middle. I will go tomorrow and see what they can do about it.

I purchased mine years ago (5-6 years) from Pandora. However, they have long been retired in Canada and the US. Some parts of Europe, etc. have similar styles though. Pandora also should be coming out with some new ones, this year too! If you're not in Europe, etc. eBay is the best option to find similar ones. There was originally a small, medium and large jewellery box. I have the medium! xx

I would feel in the same boat if that happened to me. 😰😔 I personally have never had my clips open and fall off before and I've been collecting Pandora since 2008/2009. I also make sure not to wear my jewellery while working out, dishes, etc. just to be extra safe! It makes me wonder if your globe clip was a faulty one. They really shouldn't unlock that easily. Was the globe clip purchased at your local Pandora? I'm not sure if they would do anything, but if you have your receipt, I would go in and explain what happened and your concerns about purchasing future clips. Hopefully, they'll be helpful!!! 💕💕

I was advised at the shop that my safety chain should not be lose enough to slide it off like you do as it might not always fall like you showed us and it really should not be able to go further down than the widest part of your hand so that it won't drop down straight off your hand An idea to shorten a safety chains chain if it's too long is use a clip next to the safety chain right at the end of the bracelet I must say you have some beautiful bracelets and anyone can see you enjoy and love them very much

Georgina Winters That's strange all mine do are you putting them next to the charms then the clip and then the safety chain? Move the safety chain a bit further down the bracelet if you want to shorten the small chain that hangs on the safety chain then attach a clip and I don't mean the clips go on the coiled screw bit(the bit that you have to wind some of the charms over)I mean put the clips on after this
Wrinklies yea. Out off all the clips I have only one will close and the one that does close stops the bracelet itself from closing😢 I did notice the grooves are bigger where the safety chain is though!
Hi thanks for this video, And clips are very important because The screw on beads can get stuck on those screw spacers and break your bracelet, so it's really very necessary to prevent the beads from getting stuck on those screw spacers 🤗👌 And the safety chain is very important too because it makes it easier to put your bracelet on, and it keeps all your expensive beads and charms on and prevents them from getting lost 😢

Hoping I'll be able to help! ☺️💕 I personally recommend getting the clips, they are the best, but you could also look into getting the silicone clips and they could go right beside the swivel section too and stay in play. I personally have never had any of my clips open. That sounds like a bad clip and I would take those back to Pandora to exchange. They shouldn't open that easily.. Sounds like a quality issue and Pandora would exchange, for sure!!! The clip should be hard to open, you'll need a guitar pick or a strong nail to really open it. Makes me so sad your friends have had that happen!!!! 😔😔💕💕💕

Oh no, I always knew it was recommended to get clips but I didn't know your bracelet could actually bend like that over time without them! That was useful to see, I would be so heartbroken if my bracelet suddenly snapped and any charm went missing! I know, it is so sad!!! I learned my lesson. So now...I always advise every one to get clips and distribute weight evenly...so important! :( I wish they had more enameled clips too! I miss them. I love seeing the different CZ ones, but the enamel ones have this lovely detail to them...and nice pop of colour! I know! I would love to invest in some gold ones too. Did you see those new rose hold clips that are coming out with the fall collection? Those would be so pretty. Who ever invented Pandora knows how to make money. They marketed on the deepest reason for jewelery-sentimental value. Then they added a game to it- collect meaningful charms!
Smart. Then they sell you things to care for the bracelet separately (like the clips for even weight distribution or a cleaning pack) . So now it's like your baby. Smart.

Great video - I’m fairly new to Pandora collecting (I only have 5 charms) but was never recommended the clips - i’ll definitely be looking into these. Also a safety chain ad my teenage daughter (who had more charms than me!), wore hers to school a while back and her bracelet came undone - she ended up losing 3 charms including her favourite Stitch charm. 😢
I love Pandora bracelets I have one myself, Yes... They are very expensive, but it's meant to be built over time from celebrations, certain occasions etc.. also when building your bracelet it is important to find a knowledgeable employee to help you in store.. my mother and husband went to get a few pieces for mine, the employee seemed disinterested and therefore gave them no information on what exactly they were looking for, I told them what to look for and she still sent them in the wrong direction... I needed clips! Clips help with building it, even if you don't have a lot of beads is like she said it adds symmetry and I think it helps with the functionality of the bracelet as you build it over time it balances out the bracelet. I don't think it's good even with just a few beads for them to all slide to one side as it will cause stress on the clasp, Also if anyone is interested I would suggest a safety chain as it keeps your bracelet together and from beads slipping off in the meantime!! 😊

I used to work at Pandora and the kink in the bracelet is not necessarily from not having clips. I've had clips on my bracelet from day one as well as a safety chain as soon as they came out with those (which does help with putting your bracelet on), but I have a kink in my bracelet too. Regardless of clips, the weight of the charms affects the bracelet, and especially if your bracelet is full. Not only can you get a kink on your bracelet, but with the weight of the charms your bracelet will also stretch a little bit.
Yes, very true and good advice! That's why I suggest trying to balance the weight evenly around the bracelet too. This also helps prevent kinks from forming! Yes, snake chains stretch about .5 to 1 cm :D That's so cool you used to work at Pandora!

I like to put a spacer next to the clasp so none of the charms get twisted on the groove. And at the end or the opening of the bracelet I put a clip just so none of the charms twist off. I do that because I don’t really like using the safety chain and it keeps all my charms on the bracelet without worrying of them coming off. Just a tip that I do.

My brother's and I got my mom a pandora bracelet with mostly pink and white and pink ribbons for her when she started her cancer treatments about 12 yrs ago. She recently passed, and I was passed down here bracelet. I have found a charm that says mom with angel wings. But I was unsure if I could add more due to the 2 grove things under the clips. I would say I would look into investing in clips after 2-4 charms are on your bracelet. That being said, Pandora also has quite a few bracelets now that you don’t have to have clips for either!
ALSO!!! I would encourage you (if you can), to wait for a Pandora sale or promotion! This will save you money/and or get you a free charm or bracelet. Basically, you can get more for your dollar spent! One of my blogger friends, The Art of Pandora often lists upcoming promotions in different countries. I haven’t heard of any promotions, just yet... but usually Pandora does something for Valentine’s Day! Just a tip because whenever I treat myself to Pandora, I always wait for a sale or promotion!!!! But!!! You might also be really excited to get a bracelet and might not want to wait any longer! Totally get that too!

2:20 If you don't wear the bent bracelet anymore - you might be able to sell it back to Pandora for a few dollars. I think they recycle jewellery and can melt it down to make new ones.
I got mine for my 19th birthday from my boyfriend with two rose gold "stoppers" and a rose gold heart. Then for my next birthday he got me a little tree charm which you can open and it says "family forever"❤️ since then i just added one as a memory to our trip in dubai and the little hogwards as a memory to our trip to london and the harry potter studios ❤️😍 now i will continue this with every place we visit together

I do wear two bracelets together. A typical layered look for me is: two moments bracelets paired with a leather bracelet in-between! Or sometimes a moments bracelet, bangle and leather bracelets. Should I get a safety chain for my bangle bracelet??
For the bangles, I recommend getting a silicone clip!!! They prevent the charms from falling off. The safety chain doesn't work so well for the bangle, as it makes it harder to put on! You technically can do it, but a clip is much better and easier!!!!

Congratulations on your Pandora bracelet...it is such a special piece and the rose gold heart bracelet is STUNNING. I am loving mine! You should be fine, without clips, for a while. It's only when you start to add more weight, to the bracelet. that you really should have clips (so it distributes the weight evenly)! With your safety chain and 1 charm, you are at no risk! I'd say clips would be the next best purchase to make, but even if you add 2 more charms, before getting clips, you should be fine!!! Also...what was your first charm! I would love to know! Does it have a special meaning to you?

Princess Pumpkin I can't remember if Pandora retired them, but if they have...i highly recommend checking out, Pandora's Tribe on Facebook. It is an awesome group where you can find exclusive or retired Pandora pieces! And Tiedyedeb on eBay is an authentic Pandora seller and I'm pretty sure she would have them. Only thing is, she's based in the states, so depending where you are, it might be pricy with duty.

Mike Jones that is so sweet of you. She will love it!!! If you pick the moments bracelet (This is the most popular style) I personally would recommend picking out one special charm and two clips. The clips add a lovely finishing detail and the charm can stay centered in the middle. This is a gift you can continue to add to, but for special occasions or "Just because" moments. This would be my top recommendation!
Another bracelet that is really lovely and very comfortable is the open bangle. It can accommodate quite a few charms, but has a beautiful look to it, no matter how many charms are on it. It comes with two spacers that act like clips and center the charm(s) in the middle.
If you are in the US, the states is having a promotion, this weekend called the "buy more, save more". It's a great time to buy Pandora, if you're thinking of getting one!

Hello, I just found your channel. I just bought my first pandora bracelet and I’ve watched your video and thank you for the tip with the clips. I have a question. If my bracelet doesn’t have the groove things your referring too on my bracelet, will the clips still stay in place? I’m like you, the store didn’t mention clips so I didn’t know to invest in clips. Thanks for the advice! Can I ask what is going to probably be a stupid question? Do you need clips and safety chains for bangles? I don’t see people with them and heard you don’t need them. My first Pandora bracelet is a bangle (the Harry Potter snitch one) and I just wondered. Bangles look less likely to fall off/the charms to fall off, plus the clips (unless I am missing something) won’t stop the charms from moving? Sorry, complete newbie!

Do you always wear your bracelet? I have a shine bracelet that I never take off. I want to know how the gold will look if it ever tarnishes
I always wear my bracelets, but I do take them off when showering, working out, cleaning, before bed, etc. I do recommend keeping your Shine pieces either in a air tight ziplock bag or one of those ivory Pandora bracelet jewellery bags (hopefully, you know the one I mean!) When the bracelet starts to look more dull, less shiny is when you know there's some build up. The Shine collection is so beautiful. Which bracelet did you pick out?
I have the gold plated Shine bracelet with a gold heart and a plated ring with hearts...I'm so obsessed with Pandora but I find it difficult to put it back on after showering! Maybe in the future I'll invest on the actual gold one so that I don't have to take it off. Thank you for the reply though
Oooh, I know what you mean about putting them back on! They can be tricky! Have you tried wearing the bracelet with a safety chain? I swear by those, they make it a bit easier to put the bracelet on, as it helps hold it it place!
Awe, I have debated about getting one of the 14K gold bracelets, but they just seem soo overpriced and I find it so hard to justify. davian reiss you don't need to have clips on the bangle or fabric bracelets, but they do have rubber stoppers and special clips to go on these types. They are great to keep your charms in place and prevent them from sliding around.
I recommend getting clips as soon as you can, to help the bracelet stretch evenly. I always get them, with a new bracelet. If you don't want to get clips, right away, after 2-3 charms. The new bracelet is quite stiff and will begin to relax, as you wear it
Hello my charm bracelet has clip holders but i got two clips with silicone grip and put them near the places of the clip holders is that okay too or should i invest in the ones that fit in the clip holders

Hello Jennifer! That is so sweet of him! If you just have two charms and no clips on the bracelet, you don't need to worry about balancing them, just yet! I personally love the safety chain, I find it's most helpful to put on the bracelet, but I do not think it is a necessary item. If there bracelet were to break, it mostly likely won't be in the clasp area. A lot of people purchase an additional clip to put on the end of the bracelet, to stop charms from falling off.
I personally love the two tone gold and silver look! I think it looks beautiful! I've always been a big fan, but you have to do what looks the best for you! It's all about your personal style and taste...that's what I love about the Pandora concept!

Depending on your area, Pandora has some wonderful promotions and sales! I save up for the promotions and sales personally! I would keep an eye out and if you don’t already, check out The Art Of Pandora blog. She posts about upcoming sales and promotions in different countries! Love your bracelets they are so pretty. I have two pandora bracelets, my first one actually has a bend in the middle and I have clips on it since The day I bought it. The bracelet actually came with the small bend on it. 😏 now I have more charms on it and I'm worried it could break. I only need a few more to fill it up. Could pandora actually repair that ? I would take it back to Pandora, as it is on warranty for a year and they should be able to replace it for you! If you have had it for longer than a year...I would still bring it back in and see what they can do! Most Pandora stores are really helpful!!!

It's actually pretty noticeable, if you remove the charms from the bracelet and close it, it's not a round shape like it should be it kind of makes the bracelet fold in the middle. I will go tomorrow and see what they can do about it.

I purchased mine years ago (5-6 years) from Pandora. However, they have long been retired in Canada and the US. Some parts of Europe, etc. have similar styles though. Pandora also should be coming out with some new ones, this year too! If you're not in Europe, etc. eBay is the best option to find similar ones. There was originally a small, medium and large jewellery box. I have the medium! xx

I personally have never had my clips open and fall off before and I've been collecting Pandora since 2008/2009. I also make sure not to wear my jewellery while working out, dishes, etc. just to be extra safe!
It makes me wonder if your globe clip was a faulty one. They really shouldn't unlock that easily. Was the globe clip purchased at your local Pandora? I'm not sure if they would do anything, but if you have your receipt, I would go in and explain what happened and your concerns about purchasing future clips. Hopefully, they'll be helpful!!! 💕💕

I was advised at the shop that my safety chain should not be lose enough to slide it off like you do as it might not always fall like you showed us and it really should not be able to go further down than the widest part of your hand so that it won't drop down straight off your hand An idea to shorten a safety chains chain if it's too long is use a clip next to the safety chain right at the end of the bracelet I must say you have some beautiful bracelets and anyone can see you enjoy and love them very much

Georgina Winters That's strange all mine do are you putting them next to the charms then the clip and then the safety chain? Move the safety chain a bit further down the bracelet if you want to shorten the small chain that hangs on the safety chain then attach a clip and I don't mean the clips go on the coiled screw bit(the bit that you have to wind some of the charms over)I mean put the clips on after this
Wrinklies yea. Out off all the clips I have only one will close and the one that does close stops the bracelet itself from closing😢 I did notice the grooves are bigger where the safety chain is though!

The screw on beads can get stuck on those screw spacers and break your bracelet, so it's really very necessary to prevent the beads from getting stuck on those screw spacers

Hoping I'll be able to help! ☺️💕 I personally recommend getting the clips, they are the best, but you could also look into getting the silicone clips and they could go right beside the swivel section too and stay in play. I personally have never had any of my clips open. That sounds like a bad clip and I would take those back to Pandora to exchange. They shouldn't open that easily.. Sounds like a quality issue and Pandora would exchange, for sure!!! The clip should be hard to open, you'll need a guitar pick or a strong nail to really open it. Makes me so sad your friends have had that happen!!!! 😔😔💕💕💕

Oh no, I always knew it was recommended to get clips but I didn't know your bracelet could actually bend like that over time without them! That was useful to see, I would be so heartbroken if my bracelet suddenly snapped and any charm went missing! I wish they had more enameled clips too! I miss them. I love seeing the different CZ ones, but the enamel ones have this lovely detail to them...and nice pop of colour! I know! I would love to invest in some gold ones too. Did you see those new rose hold clips that are coming out with the fall collection? Those would be so pretty. I forget the name of these clips (they might be retired now), but they were enamel and had white daisies on them? Those would look so pretty!
