Hello Helge. It is really wonderful to see this old equipment still working. The engineering is excellent and was certainly needed for the environment that the equipment was used in all those years ago.73.Ian G7HFS/PA3IKH.
I just realize, I have an unformer just like that. 12/130V. My father (82) saved from a crushed Bf109 (as he told me) when he was a kid, right after the war.
Dear Helge, excellent video. We were in contact by email and on award.com forum. I am still trying to complete my Fu5 setup and put it on the air... Not done cause U10a (and Cäsar front cover) are missing. :(
Nice. I have those boxes myself, sort of grew up with them. My father got them after the war, mainly to strip and get parts for other projects. They disappeared, but I managed to get hold of the couple some years ago. I have a slightly different rotary power supply, and miss the cables and the power supply for the UKW.E.e. Will try to get them on the air though.
The transmitter works fine with different anode voltages. The only thing you notice is a slightly different output power. Maybe we can get a QSO? LA6NCA.
Tack vara dej kunde jag lärmej hur det fungerar inom panzer kommunikation system , men hur visa du i en färre dokument kunde hitta en spion kanaler fråm England?? Det är över 60 år senare teknik??
I have a request! Could you show us the radios operating in dim light? I am curious about what lights and lamps they have, in other words, what did they look like in the darkness of a Panzer.
Thanks for the nice video. I have also an UKW.E.e, how I can receive and hear A1- und SSB-Signals with this A2- and AM-Receiver? Tnx and greetings Andy
I was a communications operator in a Norwegian panzer battalion. We used AN/VRC-12 radios. And German Leopard panzers. But the German WW2 radios were actually just as good. 73 of LA6NCA
My friend what camera do you use? The audio on ALL your videos, even the old videos, is so crisp and perfect. In the older videos when you open a box or connect an antenna, it always sounds like the person watching is there! Thanks for all you do
I use sony video camera with carl zeiss lens. The sound is often recorded with a Sennheiser MD 421 Made a mixer with balanced line input to connect directly to the old radios. And the microphone. The mixer connects to a PC that records the sound. Video and audio are edited in Sony Vegas. www.la6nca.net/homebrew/mixer/index.htm LA6NCA
That German radio operates the same to > modern CB radio they operates on the same FRE-quency band the Modern CB from 26> to 27 MHz . that German radio from 27 > 33 MHz at wider range. The mode of MODULATOPNs the same to modern CB at AM mode .But its OUT-put power is much higher at 10-watts but by law CB is limited only to > 5-Watts out-put .
Is the sound mixed, open air + throat mic, or is the sound from you, throat mic only? I am trying to get an idea exactly how the throat microphone sound is.
At the beginning of the video, the sound from me is only from the throat microphone. From 2 minutes it is mixed from the throat microphone + the camera microphone

GOOD MECHANICAL Design and ECONOMICAL but TRANS-mitter use a LOW-level MODULATIONs the MICRO-phone am-plifier goes directly to > RF power am-plifier grid . Whereas the AMERIICAN system use a HIGH-level modulations which is much SU-PERIOR com-pare to > GER-mays design in my opinion.

No, it does not go with CW (A1) or SSB on this receiver. It has no BFO.
So those are contact mics on your vocal cords
Great! What was the antenna and the distance? 73 Bernd
På vilken frekuens brukar panzar arbetar under kombat??
Good question. I don't know if there was any such standard frequency. Maybe some experts know?
