OMG !!!! I was trying to get my new Genie opener programed for weeks and could not get it but I was missing that final step with the openers programing button and the 3 - 2 sec presses !!!!! Thanks brother !!!!!
I have a 2016. homelink was working fine for 2 years then it stopped for some reason. I cleared the codes and re programmed them. first button opens and closes fine. the 2nd only works if I'm parked super close to the garage door. any ideas why? other vehicles open and close that door fine. even tried setting it to different buttons and nothing.
I’m so sorry that’s happening. But personally I have no idea why that could be happening. I’ve honestly never heard of someone having a problem like that before. If it really bothers you I’d take it to your Cadillac Dealer to see if they can fix it somehow. More likely than not though, they’ll probably just recommend replacing the whole unit for you.
It also worked on my 2016 ford f250! Only thing is you have to know how to set your garage door opener to learn. Mine has a yellow circle button, and you just click it once, and it’ll stay lit for programming
