Absolutely brilliant work in this by Halle Berry too. She not only trained with the firearms and fighting techniques as Keanu did, she also put a lot of time into the dog training. Apparently one of the biggest problems using dogs in this kind of action sequences is having them know whose voice to listen to. There is so much noise and yelling and speaking on set. Both the training and use of the dogs and horses was pretty amazing. My worst was possibly the Adjudicator. Loved your reaction yet again Jen.
The two guys John fights at the end, right before he fights the main baddie, are from a couple of Indonesian movies called The Raid. Raid 2 might be my favorite action movie of all time. Definitely need a reaction to those 2 movies, top tier martial arts and a pretty good story to boot.
Zero wanting to sit uncomfortably close to John and telling him "We would be pals" is way too accurate a portrayal of real life fanboys. That's why I love the character so much.
@@mikethemotormouth I remember in an interview promoting "John Wick 3," Mark Dacascos told the interviewer "You know all those great things people say about him (Keanu)? It all TRUE!"

Your love for killer dogs is hilarious! I was surprised by your disappearing skills! I love when frig was finally replaced (first time i remember)!I love when sweet Jen yells "cmon SNAP THEIR NECKS!" GREAT REACTION! A++ can't wait for the next one!
At the end of the second movie Winston gave John a marker saying he would need it down the road, by the rules they live by he cannot kill John. That is why Sofia(Halle Berry's character) reminds us in this movie that you can shoot but not kill someone who holds one of your markers.
But why did Winston gave it to John? What did John do to earn that marker? Nothing? What good is a marker if nobody knows about it (e.g. the adjudicator)? If the high table wants John dead, isn't the marker that protect John obsolete, as they can simply void it?
Another interesting fact is the villain in this movie Zero played by Mark Dacascos co starred with both them, Lawrence Fishburn in this movie and Mark co starred with Carrie Ann Moss in the movie Sabotage
Having watched your action movie journey and at the risk of sounding condescending, I’m proud of you for embracing the genre and not being as squeamish as other reactors. Good job on you and keep on enjoying movies.
7:29 and the five seconds that follow need to be made into a short. Please don't deny the internet of that. - seriously missed opportunity to not have The Continental's bar band appear and do double duty and help John like the concierge does 😂😂😂 - I know I'm always wrong about these things, lol, but considering how many 'cameo's' from Keaunu's past movies we've seen so far, it would be cool if the high table was comprised of all the women who have already starred alongside Keaunu... like Sandra Bullock, Tilda Swinton, Rachel Weisz, Charlize Theron, Winona Ryder... and the head of the high table be his 'dead' wife. And as it turns out she only faked her death just to get 'the great' baba yaga back in the game again. He's faced with having to make a decision... kill her and be who he is, or let her live and keep the part of himself that he wanted to be and longed for.
my first time watching your reactions was John Wick. You have come a long way in the last year or so, being much more confident and comfortable in front of the camera! Not to mention being fun to watch along with and seeing your genuine joy, anger and full range of emotions in your reactions! Jen, the Jenuine Reactor!
I made sure to go watch your reactions to the first two movies to be prepared for this. I can’t wait to see part 4 on Friday, also RIP Lance Reddick who played as the concierge.
6:25 This scene is a homage to a similar scene in "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly," and it makes a certain amount of sense. Revolvers of that era were made by low tech methods that couldn't consistently produce parts that all had exactly the same fit (and like a mechanical watch, proper function of a revolver depends on good fit and alignment of its moiving parts), so with these guns that were assembled just for display, not function, you would want to find the parts that fit and function together properly.
16:05 The Zulus had special warruors whose duty was to charge ahead of the attack to break up the enemy's battle formation even if it cost them their lives, and they used to take an herbal medicine that contained THC (one of the active chemicals in hashish). Experiments showed that, even though it slowed down reaction time, it created a disassociation so that a person felt less anxiety or fear and could act without doubt or hesitation. It feels kind of like playing a character in a video game where you control the character and see what's happening, but you're not personally afraid of getting hurt.
9:35 The Ruska Roma (aka Russian Gypsies) are an actual subculture (though they're not assassins) that goes back a little over three centuries when nomadic Romini people migrated to Russia (most are in Russia and Belarus now, but there are some in other countries including Canada). They gained popularity for doing musical performances at large celebrations and festivals, so having the movie's Ruska Roma run a ballet school might be a reference to that.
3:11 My neighber across the street (who moved out of state a few years ago to live with his son and daughter-in-law) used to keep a 9mm pistol hidden in a hollowed out book on his nightstand.
14:42 Mark Dacascos is known to action movie fans for his many martial arts movies (including playing the title character in the live action adaptation of the manga/anime "The Crying Freeman"), but mainstream audience may know him best as THE CHAIRMAN on Iron Chef America which makes his character being a sushi chef kind of a fun homage.
Also i would like to point out Mark Dacascos co starred with both Matrix actors Laurence Fishburn in this movie and Mark co starred with Carrie Ann Moss in the movie Sabotage
No human being has seen that knife in the eyeball scene without reacting at least once. The pair of guys he fought near the end are both on the fight choreography team and have done some amazing movies themselves. Their fight was a show of mutual respect. Check out The Raid: Redemption for some of their *insane* action/combat sequences.
I honestly can't wait for chapter 4 on Friday. I'm so stoked for it. Also rest in peace to the actor who played Charon the front desk man of the Continental (Lance Reddick)
the 'fans' that let him live are actors from the 'the raid' movies. these movies inspired the action of john wick. which is why these two were invited to appear in JW3, and yes, its the characters saying pleased to meet you, john wick the legend, but also a nice kinda 4th wall break of them saying ty for the respect and the invitation. so those of us who had seen the raid movies, quite enjoyed this 'fanservice' moment, even if it kinda breaks immersion having them letting john live
and now you have seen Halle Berry who really had to train for this film, four days a week with the dogs doing drills in order to form a bond with them. She says, "Malinois are super smart and fiercely loyal but, at the same time, they like to play, which made it fun.". They look similar to Germ shepherds which I had one growin up. Oh- and when you get to the Pierce Brosnan Bond films you will see her rock a fun role in "Die another Day , WHAT a great appearance she has in her 1st scene too!
Great reaction Jen. If you notice when Winston shoots John, there is no kill shot. Winston knew John was wearing protection, and knew where to shoot him without killing him. I don't think Winston betrayed John, he was protecting him from the High Table. I think we will see several characters from this franchise that John didn't kill, come back in Chapter 4 to help John. I think Francis (the door man in chapter 1)may return in Chapter 4 along with Halle and Winston. The King and the bum as you called him will also return I think, all to help John Wick. But this is just my guessing and hopeful thinking.
Ian McShane and Anjelica Huston reprise their roles as Winston and the Director of the Ruska Roma in the spin off movie "Ballerina" starring Anna De Armas as a young assassin seeking retribution against the people who killed her family. It's currently in post production.
Funny how the *only* cop in the whole franchise is corrupted (by looking the other way after Wick killed 12 men in his house) but the dozens of assassins follow a super strict rules based on honor! These movies are basically a big PVP game of GTA.
Parabellum stems from an ancient Roman saying, "Si vis pacem, para bellum," - If you wish for peace, prepare for war. It could also simultaneously refer to the 9mm Parabellum cartridge, a popular handgun ammunition. Looking forward to Chapter 4 as the lovely Ana de Armas is in it. She was a fabulous Bond girl in No Time to Die and unforgettable in Blade Runner 2049. Sadly, the fifth installment of the franchise will not have Lance Reddick because of his untimely death. He will be sorely missed.😢

Guns, lots of guns. He first said that in The Matrix. While the Latin Parabellum means prepare for war this is also an ammunition 9x19 mm for hand guns. It was originally created by Luger! The two shinobi who show John respect and whose lives he spares are played by Yaya Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman who are experts in the Indonesian martial art or silat. To see more of them and more silat (and machetes fihts, gun fights, and just a few explosions) you should watch "The Raid: Resemption" and "The Raid 2: Berandal" (berandal mean something like a thug or ruffian).
TO ANSWER A QUESTION YOU RECENTLY ASKED:... You asked for a Call Sign in Top Gun... And the Gods of Wick has answered, "Baba Yaga"! Or "Babe Vega" for a more "'Merican" version! For Old School CIA "Wet Work Mechanics", It was standard procedure to deliver 2 shots to the chest, Followed by one to the head (in case they were wearing Armour). People have been known to Survive one or the other, but this combination Guaranteed "Success". Winston's "Betrayal" was planned (That's why Cedric said "Well Played" and Winston was careful to choose his words after speaking to the Adjudicator about John "being Gone". RIP to Lance Reddick ("Cedric Daniels") who passed recently.

You should watch Keanu. It's a sort of John Wick spoof about a Keanu Reeves fan who instead of a dog has a cat, Keanu, that instead of being killed is kidnapped and has to be saved. It is really great.
First off, RIP to Lance Reddick who was fantastic in this, the Wire, Destiny, and also just a great person from everything I've seen. Second, great reaction video. One small correction is that the adjudicator is a nonbinary character with they/ them pronouns and so is the actor who plays them. Looking forward to the 4th movie.
Just returned from holibobs in Portugal to this reaction and I can't wait to finish work and watch this I know it's going to be a fun reaction 😃 can't wait to see your face when the horses do there thing and the dogs ofc 😃😃 " swords are useless if you don't have a head " best comment I've heard all year by a country mile 😂
I don't know his name in this movie either, but "Morpheus" is Laurence (or Larry) Fishburne. Fun Fact: Fishburne got his start as Cowboy Curtis in "Pee-Wee's Playhouse." Idea: Consider "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" for your Halloween playlist...trust me!
Still watching atm but I can already tell you're gonna enjoy this one! I'm going to see Chapter 4 this Sunday and I can't wait! Rip Lance... 😔 I gotta say you look flawless as always momma❤
You gotta see chapter 4; better scenery, more action, better visuals, better shots. It’s the best movie in the series. One of my favorite fight scenes in the whole series is the knife fight in this movie. John is so skilled and so accurate when throwing the knives.

Principle photography has just wrapped on John Wick 5 so there will be at least one more film to go after JW4 comes out. So it would seem that the late Lance Reddick will (hopefully) be in both films.

I haven't seen this movie, and I hope to watch it someday, so I can't watch reactions to it. I don't want the plot spoiled. However, it's my understanding that liking, commenting, and watching the entire video is the best way to help with the algorithm. So in support of one of my favorite reactors, I'm here to do just that. The video can play all the way through while I play some video games. And sometime in the future, after I've seen John Wick 3, I'll come back to actually watch it. I hope you enjoyed the movie! ✌😎

27:11 Underground societies like the Bowery and the Ruska Roma have their own ethical codes and customs and pride, and I think the way the High Table just spits on all that and demends that they violate their own beliefs in obedience to the Table could backfire.
I'm curious about Chapter 4 and how John gets hit by a car, per every movie so far. More than 1 car? I'm saying, yeah, more than likely more than 1. Loving your reactions on this series.
Jen, he killed three people with a pencil. Did you really have any doubts about what he could do with a big, heavy book? 🤔 BTW, I love your reaction! 🙂❤ You're so invested in the story. 👍
I think as videogames go, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have been considerably influenced by the first John Wick movies. Similar color and lighting, a similar super-stylish underworld, similar sound for music and action, and gunfights can get similarly quick and crazy.
Should I react to John Wick Ch 4?

It’s not a John wick movie unless someone is getting hung up on 😂
1:23 nothing better happen to his dang dog in this one. I'll tell you that right now.
2:14 oh the library, ok.
3:40 I mean this guy doesn't stand a chance right? But he's so huge!
4:15 look at those STACKS and STACKS 💵💵💵
6:16 GUNS GUNS GUNS
7:29 oh not in the eye! 🫣😱🫣😂
9:59 yes! Well not just that, but to avenge the puppy certainly!
13:08 the Moroccan Continental, cool! Lady with a dog? A dog!
14:18 there's a lot of sliding stuff across in this movie. I need to slide more stuff across to people.
14:34 a kitty!
14:41 slide
17:05 🫣
18:26 I need a pair of well-trained dogs, for fighting.
18:47 (Jen-Pain auto tune)
22:38 he looks sharp! I don't think I've said it yet. Keanu, you're a handsome handsome dude. Official crush! For sure.
22:45 Killers? Yep. Yep.
23:41 SWORDS!
23:49 swords are useless if you don't have a head 😂😂😂
24:58 the dog. Yay.
34:50 is he dead or what?
35:08 always wear a belt in battle.
35:56 😮
☺️👍🔥
Got my ticket for Thursday night showing in IMAX
' Just gotta catch my breath.' RIP, Tom Sizemore.
The building a pistol scene was a homage to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly western movie scene from 1966 with Eli Wallach
☺️👍🗡🥰🐕
13:12 The way you pronounced "A dog!" reminded me of Butters from South Park (my favorite character).
From what I understand Keanu Reeves has said he was willing to make "John Wick" movies for as long as he's able and there's a fan base for them.
I don't know his name in this movie either, but "Morpheus" is Laurence (or Larry) Fishburne.
Fun Fact: Fishburne got his start as Cowboy Curtis in "Pee-Wee's Playhouse."
Idea: Consider "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" for your Halloween playlist...trust me!
Still watching atm but I can already tell you're gonna enjoy this one! I'm going to see Chapter 4 this Sunday and I can't wait! Rip Lance... 😔
I gotta say you look flawless as always momma❤
7:25 Trama Intensifies... 🤣
Got my ticket, can’t wait for this movie
That was my 1st JW. Wild! Will work my way backwards. You expand my horizons! Thank goodness for the bulletproof doggie vest!!!
🥰🥰🐕
You gotta see chapter 4; better scenery, more action, better visuals, better shots. It’s the best movie in the series.
One of my favorite fight scenes in the whole series is the knife fight in this movie. John is so skilled and so accurate when throwing the knives.
John wick -best
John wick 2- straight hell fire
John wick 3- Masterpiece
John wick 4- Cult classic GOD of Action thriller
Fantastic choice as always. Hope you enjoyed it.
Loved it!
Amazing reaction jen!!
John wick is everything
Your WIsdom Nuggets continue to crack me up. Someone should make a compilation of them.
☺️👍
12:23 "Love a good Hookah"
See? It's stuff like this that makes Jen one of my favourite Reactors. 😋
☺️🪴🌬🤙
2 Legends. "Halle Berry and Keanu Reeves. Freaking epic! I absolutely love all the intense action. I enjoyed your sliding sections in this "Jen 😊. Your reactions are the best! 🙌
7:31 . . . I paused it to write a comment and "Jen's face is so cute and adorable 🙂
Principle photography has just wrapped on John Wick 5 so there will be at least one more film to go after JW4 comes out. So it would seem that the late Lance Reddick will (hopefully) be in both films.
John needs a sabertooth Cat on his side.... I volunteer!
Wow both Jen and Cassie releasing John Wick reactions on the same night.
This episodes word of wisdom was priceless! 💌🤣
Pencil, book, horse...I want to see him wield a KFC spork.
the title of the theme for John Wick movies is called John Wick Mode
Oh boy i forgot how good these JW movies were! Jen you make them even better❤ you gona have to change your name to JenWick because your killing it with your reactions!😁 I can't wait for JW4! Any time soon?? I'll be waiting for your reaction at the Continantal!😁also just wanted to comment on the colors used in this move... Awesome! Thanks for sharing Jen ❤️💛
Oh my gosh you are too kind! Thank you ☺️👍 It does help so much!! 🔥
"How is this not yet a videogame?" - I like you! :D Asking the important questions here! :D
The Thing about the Times We're Living in.... 20 years ago, Big Name Movies stayed in Theaters for Months before being released on DVD (or streaming, as it was new)...
But After COVID killed quite a few Theaters, Chances are you'll probably be watching this Sometime in June... Probably.
@3:55 Jackie Chan could probably use the page numbers in a book as a weapon. 🙂
You spoil us Jen and crew!
☺️👍🐕
You might see cassian again because in their fight he leaves the blade in so he doesn't die but with ruby rose he takes the blade out making it almost impossible for her to live
I just uploaded these movies on my channel. Got all these on 4K. And can't wait for the new one. Super happy to watch this with you.
27:11 Underground societies like the Bowery and the Ruska Roma have their own ethical codes and customs and pride, and I think the way the High Table just spits on all that and demends that they violate their own beliefs in obedience to the Table could backfire.
This movie is awesome
Those dogs are bad ass mother-puppers.
🥰🐕
I'm curious about Chapter 4 and how John gets hit by a car, per every movie so far. More than 1 car? I'm saying, yeah, more than likely more than 1. Loving your reactions on this series.
I think that you have misunderstood the quote: "I'll be seeing you" is completed with "in hell".
I love the way you speak, observations you make and commentary. ❤ I'm going to start sliding stuff across too. 😅
☺️🤙
Jen, he killed three people with a pencil. Did you really have any doubts about what he could do with a big, heavy book? 🤔 BTW, I love your reaction! 🙂❤ You're so invested in the story. 👍
I really am! Can't wait for #4! ☺️👍
I think as videogames go, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have been considerably influenced by the first John Wick movies. Similar color and lighting, a similar super-stylish underworld, similar sound for music and action, and gunfights can get similarly quick and crazy.
