My husband is Welsh with a family tradition of using welsh names. We didn’t use Trystan for our first (because she was a girl) and my husband went off it between kids so didn’t get used for my son either. Then our second was a boy so didn’t use our top girl name, Seren. I have a Nia and a Tomos (and live in England so they do get Mia and Thomas sometimes but they are quick to correct) and my daughter especially loves that fact she has a clear link to her welsh heritage.
Daniel and Roisín were 2 names on our list that won't ever be used sadly! Hubby loves Daniel but does not like how it's always shortened to Dan or Danny, so that's off. Roisìn I love so much, but since we have Oisín now, it's way too similar if we ever have a girl. So that's off the list! Conor was one too, but someone I know has a Conor. We have a top boy name that was our 2nd pick after Oisín and we have a girl name that has always been on the list, so hopefully we can use one in the future 😁
I love Theo! Dylan is lovely too. I like Welsh and Irish names too.
There are some lovely Welsh and Irish names!

Welsh names are beautiful!
My 7 month old is Noah, I picked it as a teenager too. It’s now popular but I still don’t know any other Noahs
I only know one to be fair!
Sending you healing vibes, Chloe! Hope you and D are okay otherwise xo

Hopefully you’ll get to use it 🥰
Verity is so pretty. I also love Serenity, but both names don’t have a great nick name. Vera could be one, but it’s a name in its own sense
Yeah I can’t think of a nickname for it either!
Seren could be a sweet nickname for Serenity. It means star in Welsh, I believe
I love the name Esmé for a girl but I don't think I'll ever get to use it, I already have 5 kids 😅
I liked Esmé too! Such a pretty name
Do you like Victor? I think it has the sounds and feel you like
It’s a bit harsh-sounding for me personally!
No one has used Zeus yet…
🙄😂
