OK two thoughts... 1. Check the blanking plate is removed as previously stated. 2. It's hard to see from your video, but it looks to me the unit has been installed too far from the front top edge of the roof. On a pop top like yours, the unit needs to be installed equal to or no greater than 30cm from the front edge of the roof.
Holy crap! Ours has been perfect. Just did the Gibb River Rd and a few thousand kilometres of dirt roads and no dust! Only just swapped out the filter and it was putrid….. who installed it?
It was done by eagle campers, I’ve gone through it and it looks all good. Do you guys seal everything else as we have notice some areas where dust is getting in. Was going to DM you guys to see how yours was going.
@@SargeNurseOffRoading actually just threw away the clear contact we bought to seal everything as we never used it. The DRS was working so well, we didn’t bother. There’s definitely an issue there. I replaced our filter yesterday and noticed there is a wrong and right way for it to face…. Maybe it was in back to front?
@@SargeNurseOffRoading you would press a button for a fan to run for the diary of time the system is activated, meaning the fan would be creating positive pressure in the van, whether it’s stationary or moving. The idea being, it’s ‘working’ to keep dust out at all times, not just when moving.
Our fantasy is good but saying that I replaced all seals with quality Oz rubber external doors windows And filled pipe work under van and sealed electric cable entry points under chassis to inside van And fitted cover under van at underneath aircon vent
@@SargeNurseOffRoading Hi Sarge When we strengthened the chassis we found holes with pipe and wiring running through the chassis and no rubber grommets so I sealed that up with sikaflex I then sprayed underbody underneath I placed window seals on windows That being said I have seen expensive vans with very unhappy owners and dust inside Lots of jayco

Did you remove the block off plate that is there for wet weather?

Strongly suggest a Carafan. the Dometic DRS wont work if you go slow or if dust is think, trucks ahead etc
Hello, did you figure out what the issue was? Is it working now?
Silly question have they put the filter in the right way
Not a silly question at first they hadn’t but I fixed that after the first dirt road seemed to have gotten worst
Good Sgt : Does the system apply positive pressure even when your stopped?
How do I tell ?

@@robertjfsoper the Dometic System doesn’t have a fave and is supposed to be doing this without any mechanical components
