Kulungile Bandile. What I would suggest is to also write the dates. For example, say "Today is Tuesday. The date is October 15, 2024. The time is 11:15."
You're really awesome, I love how you organized your videos into sections like family members together, time together. It makes it easier to follow and to evaluate progress ❤❤
Sawubona. Those are both saying "a thingy", "thingimajik". Ilokhuza. Ilokhuzana. Ilento. A word that you say when you can't think of the right or correct word. Ngikubonile izolo, uhamba nomngani wakho uLokhuzana. (I saw you yesterday, walking with your friend, "what's her name"? My grandfather used to use these a lot. He would call 'Lokhuzana' and ask him or her to bring him ilokhuza from elokhuzeni. It was so funny. So he really didn't call anyone, he didn't ask for anything that is anywhere. But we would all show up because we didn't know who he wanted to send.
Thank you very much for this lesson, thanks to your videos I have been learning How to speak Zulu. I am from Colombia and I don't know how I could contact you to take personalized classes.
There's a song by a certain artist called Zoe Modiga and in the song she says "umasinga' izifiso" so does it still mean January or it's something else?
Mfundisi Thando, I have a question. In your lesson, and using the dictionary of www.isizulu.net, it says that January is Umasingana, February is Unhlolanja etc. I have a paperback dictionary called Scholar's Zulu Dictionary, by GR Dent and CLS Nyembezi . It states that January is Unhlolanja, February is uNdasa, March is uMbasa, etc. Is that dictionary actually just plain wrong? Ngiyabonga!
