I had always done what you said about leaving the bedroom to be the least decorated room in the house. A couple of years ago we refreshed the master bath so I refreshed the bedroom too. Now it’s a calming coordinated space to enjoy at the end of the day!

Hi Liz🥰🫶🏻💕 the shelf was bought at a boutique in wentzville but it was a year ago. That store closed but they still have one by my other house. Where I sent a photo thinking of you at. I will do some research and see if I can find the vendor for you. I had bangs all my life and then the past 10 years none so it’s coming home for me. They are a lot of upkeep but they sweep away easily too! Have a great weekend💖

Hi Debbie! Very cute outfit! I really like those light and airy curtains.That settee is great. I wouldn’t be able to part with that either. Those lovely pillows as well as that throw really cozy it up. So pretty how you flanked it with those adorable lamps and those cute tables. The addition of the hat is such a sweet touch. I have a pillow on a bench that my son made in Middle school with a needle point picture of the state of NJ that reads “Home is where the heart is.” That hydrangea looks great placed on there with that book. Sea glass is one of my sister’s favorite things. I love the idea of those memory books that you’re gifted with each year. So fun! I love your bedding and those shell pictures as well as the sailboat painting. I have three pillows. One with the Nautilus shell on it. I’m never really sure which way to place that one pillow because of the spiral. 🙃 So amazing to have a fireplace in your bedroom. I love those plush rugs. Our bedroom has become a dumping ground. Years ago, I had asked my son to clean his room. Later that day, I went into my bedroom closet and here he had thrown everything that he didn’t want into to my closet. 🙃 I was thinking to hang that shelf over your bed as well. But, it looks perfect where you ending up hanging it. I love that sign “Give it to God and go to sleep.” That’s exactly right. I love that photo ladder and the person aspect it adds to your space. Yeah I do that when there isn’t beautiful trim but in this case I choose to draw attention to the trim. The whole idea of higher is yo make the ceiling look taller but we have a tray ceiling which is another visual for height.
Loved this! My main bedroom is done with a nod to coastal even though I live in VT as our vacations are to the Maine seacoast. I chose whites and driftwood greys for my colors. I loved your settee in front of the window and those hand painted lamps and artwork are to die for. Just a thought...could you possibly angle the armoire on the wall?
