So many players came to fruition, Eagle caught fire many times...unstoppable..(-45) Wysocki became casually brilliant, with less effort and a smile. Drew here finally connecting all his dots. It takes work and even more work after that, but the fruit is sweet at the end.
An evolution in the disc golf community as a whole I would say! As a newcomer myself, I went back and watched some historical tournaments and such and it seems like the game is growing so rapidly. It’s crazy to witness! Shot my first round even par today was hyped on it, keep chuckin plastics y’all!

Jomez had 221,000 subscribers only 1 year ago (Aug 8, 2020), and fewer than 100,000 as recently as Feb 2019. Pretty phenomenal growth.

Poor Kyle Klein. He went down -5 in 5 holes the next round to bring him to -18 while Ricky and Calvin were still tied at -17, but then the tournament was suspended due to weather conditions and they only counted the first 3 rounds. I was excited to see the battle for the win.
At the end of both R2 and R3, all four players looked like they had been in a street fight. What an evil, evil course. It's fun to watch these guys actually struggle to be under par.
I personally don't enjoy seeing fairways this tight, with such specific landing zones (less than a 40 ft circle), when combined with rough this thick. It's nice to see different skill sets required to become champion of an event, but this course doesn't even give any incentive to risk aggressive shots. Whereas long open holes with ob areas short and long of the green still can provide score separation, and have more opportunities to see amazing shots be rewarded

Jeremy, just drop the whole disagreeing with the course par numbers. Whatever it's labeled, they're all still playing the against the same numbers! I love that it's a really tough course, and they're still putting up monster numbers under par!

There need to be courses where par is a good score for even pros, and Jerm is one of the biggest voices for the sport, so him constantly complaining is not a good look.
On courses like this, it might be interesting to have a flight tracker map overlay... Sort of like a follow flight on every shot. What are y'all's thoughts?

This is Heimburg's first win at Ledgestone, and Wysocki's 2nd first place finish in as many years. Due to severe weather it was not possible to safely proceed with the final round of the tournament.
i think one of the latitude 64 black course's are around the same difficulty as hole 12. The longest course in Sweden and one of the longest courses in the world is the diskgolf terminalen black line course 1 hole on a whopping 1171ft par 6. Having a 6 in on this course is worth celebrating and anything under is worth the whole crowd giving you a high five. Shortly said, its *_HARD_* .
Square,or rectangular marker discs might help when it come to a player, selecting their mark and line of play when the basket is not in front of them and the chosen line of play is. Possibly even when a player decides not to remove his disc from the lie, the marker would be an indication of where the direction of play is intended and therefor, where the legal footing is allowed.
So smart of Eagle to start throwing rollers on these tight fairways. Sure they may finish just off the edge of the fairway, but not going to deflect off a tree straight sideways and deep into the jungle.
