1:24 As always a stroke of genius! The Yoshi's Island "Flower Garden" theme perfectly blends with this intro, and the electric organ is such an elegant choice too. You never disappoint.
One of my favorite things about Qumu remixes is all the little musical "easter eggs"! I don't always catch them all on a first listen, and sometimes the comments have to help me figure them out, but they're charming and add SO much joy to every song 😀

Really love the Yoshi's Island Athletic Theme mixed in. And the NSMBDS high pitched beeps at the beginning. I think a lot of people overlook the NSMB soundtracks because of how much a lot of the songs were reused across games, but they truly are really fun songs.
Your style of music fits very well with this theme! I believe NSMB was the first game I 100 percented (4 years old, 2009), so while it’s not one of my favorite games, it holds a special place for me. I hope I never see a time where I no longer see that iconic cap.
I would love hearing qumu's take on the versus mode themes of this game. Even the versus menu theme is a bop. Everything about the versus mode is just great.

New Super Mario Bros DS is an underrated classic. Before all the others “new” games it was it’s own thing and I love that game so much. It was my first Mario game in 2006, I was 7. I’m 22 now and the beginning chiptune buildup takes me so far back :,,,,) Thank you for this!!

This reminds me of a project I was just working on. A few weeks ago I made an animation of the beginning of 1-1 in NSMBW, and the large hills in the background were actually pretty difficult to make (not because of the geometry but because I made the lines that wrap around the hill appear procedurally, which wasn't as easy as you would except using blenders shading nodes) I really like the art you have for this remix I think it really compliments the music!

Oh, I love this! New Super Mario Bros DS was the first Mario game I've played, and this hits right in the heart. I remember loving the sewer levels and not being able to find them after I played them. I like how you kept that relaxing but kind of adventurous feel it had. I love this one, definitely my favourite Overworld song of the franchise, and definitely my favourite remix of it.
