승관입니다.
지난 2019년 겨울에 들려드렸던 'Love poem' 이후로,
이번에는 태연 선배님의 '너를 그리는 시간'이라는 곡으로 오랜만에 혼자서 커버곡을 들려드립니다.
커버 프로젝트를 하면 할수록
저에게도 어느새 많은 책임감과 약간의 부담감이 생기는 것 같습니다.
저희 세븐틴의 곡들과는 달리
혼자서 곡 전체를 끌고 가야 하고,
너무나 훌륭한 원곡이 존재하기에 조금이나마 제가 누를 끼치고 싶지 않은 마음도 있어서 그런 것 같습니다.
그런 마음에서 이번 태연 선배님의 '너를 그리는 시간'은
저에게 너무나 큰 의미가 있는,
처음 들었을 때의 벅찬 감동이 잊혀지지 않는 곡입니다.
노래를 듣고 연습하면 할수록 곡의 가사와 멜로디가
저를 사랑해주는 모든 캐럿들에게 위로를 받는 기분이었습니다.
그래서 다짐했던 게 제가 부른 노래로 제가 느꼈던 이 행복감을 꼭 전해드리고 싶었습니다.
이 곡을 더 좋은 완성도로 커버 할 수 있게 응원해주고 도움 많이 주신 태연 선배님, 그리고 더운 날 수고해주신 모든 스태프분들 감사드립니다.

I've been a fan of taeyeon, iu, chen and ft island hong ki for a long time, so I have a high expectation when it comes to vocal. When I saw the insta story of taeyeon I listen to it, all I can say is, this man has a future in the industry. Can his agency/entertainment give him a solo, he's a soloist material. Job well done Mr. Boo Seungkwan. Thank you for covering taeyeon's song.

@@nurezzati3912 all svt members can sing well indeed! not to be compare or whut but Dk's vocal always reminds me of Chen cuz u know their voice always give some emotions that I can't describe plus the range of their vocals tho. Seungkwan also amazing like Dk but their singing tone and technique are different but still both are so talented! And no wonder dk already got casted 2 times already in musical theatre as lead :)

honestly I'm not a fan of seventeen but my friend (she's a carat) suggested me to listen to this, I'm really picky when it comes to covers of taeyeon's songs because I've been her fan for so long and I love her music but seungkwan did a really god job covering this song, his voice is soft and smooth but he knows when to add more power and I really felt his emotions through the song, I'm glad I listened to this

Same. He did a really good job. It's hard to cover Taeyeon's songs and tbh some covers doesn't give justice to the song that's why sones are really picky when other idols cover her songs but this cover is beautiful. Seungkwan's and Sejeong's Taeyeon covers are some of the best I've heard.

As a taeyeon stan I know how hard to cover taeyeon's song but seeing my idol praise your vocal is really amazing. While listening to it, I realize she's right you're an amazing vocalist Seungkwan. 태연 언니 킬링 보이스 듣고 왔습니다... 진짜 둘다 너무 최고ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ 탱뿌 듀엣... 내가 간절히 원한다고...
승관님이 커버하는 영상을 보면 노래에 대한 이해도와 몰입도가 정말 대단한 것 같다고 매번 느낀다. 나도 모르게 빠져들어 영상을 보면서 뭉클한 마음이 든다. 청자가 이런 느낌과 감정을 느끼게 하는 건 정말 무엇과도 바꿀 수 없는 재능이다.
This man Loves To Sing.
I guess that might be obvious, but like.... truly. The passion he has for what he does, the dedication he has put toward his craft, the mastery he has over his voice... I teared up listening to him and watching this because I couldn't stop thinking about Seungkwan saying lightly but with so much conviction in TTT 2021, "I want to sing." I can't do his talent enough justice by saying he's amazing. Like, yes, his vocals are incredible and I'm constantly awed by how his singing voice continues to develop such depth and control over time -- he sounds like he's been singing for 30+ years already and he's not even 25 yet. But I can't so easily describe how it feels to listen to the *soul* he puts into his voice. This man was born to sing and he embraces it full-heartedly. Every time we get to see him perform all-out like this, it feels like witnessing someone's life change. Like seeing someone achieve something they've been working for for years, and also seeing someone set a new goal for themself. I'll never get tired of immersing myself in this dude's voice, especially when he does these powerful ballads.
I hope Taeyeon sees this!

탱부 둘이 듀엣 하나 내도 대박나겠다. 최고의 보컬리스트들이잖아... 태연 노래들은 진짜 어려움. 고음도 고음인데 특히 그 태연 특유의 따라갈 수 없는 감성들이 섞여서.. 근데 커버 진짜 잘했다 부승관

As an 11 years sone and Taeyeon's fan, I can say that this is the best cover of her song. Seungkwan gave the most important aspect in Taeyeon's song, emotions. Emotions, you know, the emotions that Taeng always gives in her songs make it difficult for us to hear this song sung by other singers, it feels not right. I get so picky when it comes to male singers covering IU and Taeyeon's songs because they're simply... hard to feel? This cover hit different as it is a male version. I’m not even a fan of SVT, and the fact is that I got to know this cover thanks to Taeyeon’s story post (I’m a Sone). And to be honest, he did the best, and literally left the first good impression on me about his amazing vocal and the great ability to handle a song that was originally sung by a female artist.
U can tryout there other covers too lile seungkwan also covered iu once and their girl group covers are really good...even their immortal song covers are amazing...hope u like them...
u should check his cover of love poem by IU and his k.will cover, his osts such as kind of love (kdrama mother), the reason (lovestruck in the city drama), go (record of youth drama), sweetest thing (chocolate drama-its one of my fav osts ever) and check svt bside track called same dream, same mind, same night or just search same3x seventeen from your choice album.
