女主是作者,該一開始便知道女二是奸細,而男主亦夠奇怪在結尾提及當初留下孩子沒抽心頭血,但在劇集一開場便把女主虐慘…男主不像有多愛女主,女二說什麼都信,便罰得利害,而女二被戳破了害人時,就只是罰禁足；當男主打仗回家時,發現女主死了,沒有什麼悲傷/激動/憐憫什麼的感情流露,那怕是一滴眼淚,又或喝杯苦酒發個瘋也好,可惜什麼都沒有。最後女二承認是奸細後,女主提劍一輝,男主就說不,顯得有多可惜。【男主似乎得一個表情,就是耍帅，從頭到尾都沒能有表現出多愛女主的交流戲】
真的,擁有現代思想的女性來說,怎能忍受一個這樣的男主,今日一個蘇側妃,他日就有個陳李張黃何妃子呢!

But in this movie the concubine not just entered the palace but also dare to speak (loudly too) conversing in front of the emperor causing disharmony.
What a comedy! FL good and funny, ML good looking, but acting needs some improvement.

In this version of the plot the ML did not redeem himself. Just a few half ass apologies? At least in other versions the ML felt really guilty. Not sure if she accepted him back, looked more like co-parenting...on to the next!!!
