Well played sir well played.. Rylie single handily leveraged advertising from the best Opal channel around by sending some amazing Opal for the fans! Gave this man his joy while making his fan base happy You have gotten my attention 53 🐸 ❤️ Arrow heads are awesome, do you think you could make a Opal wand Harry Potter type 😅
I wasn't expecting the arrowheads! I can't believe how much different it turned out compared to the other opal arrowheads you have made. Love it. It looks like to would feel different from the opal in used to handling.
How someone ever came up with that process to treat a seemingly ordinary rock into something so pretty, I'll never know. Seriously, who thought "I'm going to bake this in sugar" was a good idea just to begin with? It's just nuts. It did make for some gorgeous stones and arrowheads though, hell, even the little jar of chips was pretty.
Always felt that way about cheese which was discovered when some guy stored his milk in a goat skin flask and when it turned solid thought, "I wonder if that will be good to eat?" Yikes!
I was seven when I found my first arrowhead out in the pasture by the pond at my great-grandparents' homestead. I still have it, fifty years later. These Andamuka opal ones are much more colorful, though. Sure would be fun to win one.
hey that's such a cool process, treating the matrix opal in such a way that it changes color.. chemistry is amazing. how long did it take for the color to develop in the arrowheads? they're really unique.
I think I've become addicted to your videos! Love watching you work your magic, making arrowhead, and stunning cabochon opal stones while you ramble some pretty funny observations. 😂
So glad I've stumbled across your videos. Watching you work your magic is so relaxing. I adore the red chips from the arrowheads. Can't wait to see more videos!
After baking in sugar and then soaking in sulfuric acid sure makes the colors pop! The bottle of chips are simply beautiful and the arrowheads are awesome. Keep up the great videos.
Those arrowheads turned out absolutely gorgeous! I got my 7yr old to watch this with me because greenbis his favorite color- now he's obsessed with your videos!
New video means gorgeous new stones to feed my heart and head with all the sparkly raindbow stones i could ever want! I love your videos and the small snipets of animals makes them even better! Thanks for sharing the all the amazing opal. 👏 😀
The fact that you not only create more beauty out of the awesomeness I find from these stones in the rough - just plain brings me joy!! Thank you for that.... and thankyou for creating arrowheads - it is a skill that should be kept going and by making the new ones people can leave the artefacts where they lay out of respect to those that used them all those long days ago! I only just recently found your channel and am loving your dry humour and your skill!! thankyou for the content you create!
I started watching your channel when I came across that septarian nodule video and since then i've been hooked. It's funny that the opals weren't the first thing that caught my attention...(though they DEF HELPED!!..) Watching your videos is like having a teachable moment with your fav cool uncle or super chill science teacher. 😊
Those arrowheads are awesome! Going from colorless matrix to those great colors is magical. And you really have no idea what you are going to get until it comes out of the treatment. Great job!
What a transformation- magical! Also thanks for the safety tips. Love watching your arrowhead videos. Always fascinating watching and hearing an expert knapper, thank you.
Beautiful work again! The only channel which I subscribe to that I have notifications turned on. The Arrowheads turned out exceptionally nice. Congrats on the upcoming 50k subscribers! Tell Sheila I said Heyyyyy!
Mini rant explains more about Andamooka matrix than all opal channels combined, most just focus on precious opal and verbally describe a little about matrix. well done yet again :) Those arrow heads are the most unique this humble viewer has ever seen.
I found a real arrowhead here where I live on the coast of North Carolina and it is beautiful! I have always been a gem geek for as long as I can remember. You did a wonderful job with these beauties. Thank you so much for sharing. I could watch for hours.
This was the first time watching your channel and I'm impressed with your opal process. I've loved opals since I was 9 years old and received my first and only opal for my 16th birthday. I love how opals have a range of colors. I never imagined you could make arrowheads with an opal stone, well done!
I really enjoyed watching the whole transformation process with your commentary especially and the weird little clips here and there. Dung beetles, cats and kittens, they all played their part to make the entire 12 minutes very entertaining. Thank you v
I’ve searched many of creeks for an arrowhead. I’ve found a couple but sure as hell never found an opal arrowhead before. I Like the videos. Thanks for sharing your work.
I have never had any luck with opal, i've tried several types and it's very difficult knowing what you might end up with and predominately that is nothing other than ironstone, sometimes with one or two spots of colour seen if you hold it correctly into the sunlight. I purchased one for my collection, a nodule of ethiopian brown opal, quite a lot of colour flash, yellow, green, red and some blue, but again it's not instantly evident without that extra light, unlike your arrowheads which just one colour. The gamble opal I purchased was white crystal and looked like a winner, but as with most novice choices this horse fell at the first fence because the ground was mostly sand, I ended up with a lot of holes held together buy small pieces of crystal opal, it looked like a leaf after a bug had dined on it, but much smaller. Very informative video, thanks buddy.
Those arrow head opals are beautiful. It is amazing the color shows up after treatment. I agree, keep your chips. Someone will love them. Actually, anyone into opals will. I hate that I got my notification 23 hours after you posted. It didn't even show up when I was going through my subscriptions yesterday. Love how the opals turn out.
Really enjoyed the journey today and got inspired to try my hand at matrix opal. Love the arrowheads and those chips are pretty awesome. Please keep these videos coming.
Great show as usual, the stone turned out to be beautiful. The process does my head in and the arrow heads would look so nice on my wife's neck. Thanks again.
