After baking in sugar and then soaking in sulfuric acid sure makes the colors pop! The bottle of chips are simply beautiful and the arrowheads are awesome. Keep up the great videos.

I wasn't expecting the arrowheads! I can't believe how much different it turned out compared to the other opal arrowheads you have made. Love it. It looks like to would feel different from the opal in used to handling.

Mini rant explains more about Andamooka matrix than all opal channels combined, most just focus on precious opal and verbally describe a little about matrix. well done yet again :) Those arrow heads are the most unique this humble viewer has ever seen.

How someone ever came up with that process to treat a seemingly ordinary rock into something so pretty, I'll never know. Seriously, who thought "I'm going to bake this in sugar" was a good idea just to begin with? It's just nuts. It did make for some gorgeous stones and arrowheads though, hell, even the little jar of chips was pretty.

I don't care how the color gets there, opal is absolutely beautiful. I avoided it when I was younger because my gran used to tell me if you lost an opal given to you it was bad luck. And even knowing that was silly it stuck for quiet some time, till I was in my late 20's. I realized that it wasn't bad luck if you lost it, it was utter heartbreak! Also loved the arrowheads you made. They turned out really red, wasn't expecting that.
