This song brings me memories from middle school... I'm sad asf about all the good as times i had when i was little. Its been 4 years and i haven't forgotten this song at all.
I played this in grade 7 and this was all we did for a while, nobody wanted to work on anything else. We didn't do as well at festival as we typically do lol
these trumpet solos are nice! I really recommend this for younger players to keep trying! I wish to say I played this but I am a violinist, so I'm not a band member. But my friends are and yeah, I recommend this.
I played this when I was still in band at my high school 2 years before I graduated, and I'll tell ya, we actually played this with our lives, best song ever!!

Every instrument is supposed to play _ff_ for the last three measures in my band (I’m an alto saxophone player) and the only thing you can hear during that part is the tubas and trombones. They’re crazy loud.
I played this song in like 2011 in 7th grade. I had the trumpet solo AND braces so by the end my lips hurt so bad 😂 good times. I had so much fun in band
currently practicing this song in 8th grade, such a great song ^w^ Edit (May 9th): just did the day concert ✌️ Edit 2 (May 9th): finished the night concert like an hour ago, it was amazing 💕💕
In 3:57 take out one dot of the colen, and take the dot and put it before the 3. So far you'll have this: .357. Then you want to put magnum at the end. At last your finished product s this: .357 magnum
I get goosebumps whenever I play this in band...
RedoBlu yes if you play trumpet it starts at measure 103

See what happens when you give a tuba so much power?
I played this last year. I’m a cello and we combined with the band for this. Literal chills
I used to have my classes next to the band room back in 8th grade, and this song has been permanently branded into my memory.
The trumpet solos are great! we played this for concert festival, and i recommend playing this piece
eric chan yes we got superior, the judges really loved the piece, make sure to make the articulation very fine and on point
eric chan also when you get to the triplet part, make them stand out, very important for points!
yeah we played this for concert festival as well and the clarinet solo and trumpet solo were the best parts (aside from temp changes) I think
I played this song in like 2011 in 7th grade. I had the trumpet solo AND braces so by the end my lips hurt so bad 😂 good times. I had so much fun in band
played only 1st part trumpet for this song in middle school, still wish i could play it again. def the most fun piece ive ever gotten to play
I played this as the last song in 7th grade. Still Epic as hell.
i got to play the solo at 77 and it was terrifying
Played this, Jefferson County Overture, and A Song of Hope and got all ones at festival. ;)

I loved playing this on bass clarinet

Same
I’m guessing you’re talking about the 16th notes?
How were you able to do a page flip video like this??
how come in the beginning i don't hear bass clarinet, bari sax, alto clarinet, tener sax, and bassoon
They don't come in till measure 5. They have 4 measures of rest
sometimes this reminds me of amario kart theme song
Lol
I am currently practicing thus in band for a concert
This*
Does anyone know his song Aztalan City Of Mystery?
Turtle Fanatic no way we played that one AND we're gonna play this one!
Is it weird that my schools orchestra is doing this with the band
Nice
The intro sounds like a bit of the fast part of Beyond the Seven Hills.
especially a little before the end. finally someone said it!
We had Beyond The Seven Hills for one of our pieces but our band director changed it to this. Haha!
My band class is playing this for a contest 😼
i hear some strike force in there to it is another on of his songs
at 1:29 the drums are wrong
they are hahahaha
thats funny
DiamondStone ikr
lol yeah. if I dealt with that make my immature friend play his tuba LOUDLY in their ears. trust me, it hurts.
im in elementary school and i play trombone we are playing this song
this song is so hard
It's funny how we have only 2 clarinet 1 doing this including me

I’m in 6th grade playing this and I have the trumpet solo
were plating this in band but were concert band and we suck ass so its bad
Me and the band was gonna play this at district assessment but corona came
It’s like st Anthony’s primary school brass band
I am a first trumpet and play the solo in a week
every friggin time at messure 55 i count so bad 😭
is it just me, or does the B natural at the very end of the trumpet solo sound EXTREMELY out of tune in this recording?
It's meant to be that way for the climax of the solo
If you mean the last note of solo, it's a High D
Low brass is the coolest out of them all! I hate flutes by the way
FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU
Honestly I think trumpets and cornets are the best in this and I play alto sax btw what's wrong with the flutes
yes
😣 that hurt
CLARINETS FOR THE WIN
Alto saxes where you at??
