Hey Gang, Great Posting, saw you on Justin and Rebecca Rhodes podcast God's Good Blessings to you and your beautiful family keep up the great work love U guys XOXOXO stay safe and healthy
Hey PR I had a question. Would adding DE to a feed as it is fermenting be ok or should I add it to the top as I feed the pigs? Can’t wait to see you at the gulf coast homestead meet up.
Hey, great question! My answer: I DONT KNOW. BUT, I simply recommend trying and seeing if it works well or not. It might be better to mix with dry feed instead of wet, but I wouldn't know what the logical approach could be. Sorry I couldn't come up with and answer, but hopefully you're experimenting will give me some insight!
@@AgroPreneurBusinessPodcast well we are supplementing de as a deworming agent along with pumpkin seeds garlic and apple cider vinegar. I don’t see how it makes much difference for internal parasites and these are feeder pigs so no real way of knowing long term effects.
@@jordanstamps5475 Gotcha, yeah, deworming is a seasonal thing. Generally you want to deworm them once they arrive and doing it in a "quarantine" area (front of property) helps keep whatever worms away from the main pastures you'll use to rotate them on.
