- The Vijayawada Western Bypass is a transformative infrastructure project nearing completion. It aims to alleviate traffic congestion in Vijayawada by creating a new route connecting NH-16 and NH-65, bypassing the city center. This will significantly improve travel time and reduce pollution. The bypass is expected to boost economic development in the region and enhance connectivity.

Vijayawada is largest city in Andhra Pradesh, it gained more prominence with Amaravati as new green field capital adjacent to it.
