I’m a die hard Ashanti fan.. but sis hasn’t put out a record showing her vocals in years. ‘Falling for You’ is a nice tune, but doesn’t do her vocal justice. From all her features -Tory, Moneybag, DaBaby, DJ Tunez Adekele, etc and her last single 235… all were mid-low tempos. Ashanti we in dying need of a record of you SANGING next…like a record when you do your ‘I cry’ warm ups!!!! Give us The Way That I Love You, Rain On Me, In These Streets, Struggle etc -- sincerely your diehard

I'm afraid to say it her singing longevity has died. I used to be a constant listener of her Thomas but she's hasn't sustained Amy good music in years. It's done.
I agree… with this performance love the new intro WAY BETTER, at her shows she does notes that I’m like do that on the record, yet I also feel she needs to add people younger to her team that can help her bring out the sound we know she has. Just like how she’s done with her fashion game,the younger new stylist has been having her on point.

Thats what help elevate and grow. I also wish she would work with diff writers more, that can challenge her vocally to bring out the best in her. Only her die hard knows sis can sang. But all the features and records shes been on lately doesn’t show it

Right! The song is already breathy, wordy and very low tempo. An acoustic guitar would at least show off her tone and control. The band and her moving around drowns out her voice.
