    You are a lifesaver. Your explanations are better than those in many textbooks! I am subscribing so that I can get through my MS in Financial Economics degree without a lot of stress!

    can we caculate marginal effect of a binary independent variable on binary dependent variable? for example: marginal effect of gender on labor force participation ? THanks!!

    Hello Mike, thank you for this!!! how can I calculate the marginal effect from a multinomial probit regression? Thanks

    • @alexlo3854
      @alexlo3854 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try either the margins command, taking a confidence interval estimate from the standard error of the regression, or crank it out by hand taking the derivative of your model with respect to the variable(s) in question

    thanks for the helpful video. sir i ran mlogit and when hit the mfx command to get the marginal effects, it gives me the marginal effect of only one outcome instead of all outcomes so could you please advice me. i appreciate your precious efforts

    Hi professor, I was wondering if you can discuss the difference between direct and iterated forecast horizons in a dynamic and autoregressive dynamic probit model. I have the data series and can share with you if it helps. I do not understand forecast horizon and lags. Eagerly await to hear from you. Thanks!
