I was able to file a complaint to the company about not having enough resin and they actually sent me a new free make it mini. So if you get a ball that doesn’t have enough resin, save the wrapper and file a complaint on their website!
@@MiniePotatoes you can always buy a big bottle of resin like they sell in the craft isle for if that ever happens again. It’s annoying, but would take less time than waiting for them to send you a new one!
I make resin jewelry and always have clear UV resin handy. Mixing in just a little bit of that helps a lot. But it is annoying that you have to thin your macha.
I think it’s the bottle. I got some pumpkin spice candles and it was that exact bottle shape and the portion of resin was too little to make it a candle
Literally had the same issue with the same candles. I filled them the rest of the way with gravy from my extra turkey to make like honey/pumpkin candles lol still had me mad tho
I was a huge fan of all of these until I started running into production issues way back in Series 1. The clear blue boba was very rare, and the only two times I found it, the resin was white, not clear blue. Ongoing issues like not enough resin, pieces not fitting together, and boring recipes are really disappointing.
Wow, it’s a good thing I saw this video before I built any of the dozen or so mini verses I have sitting around! Now I’ll grab some cheap resin to fill mine up more…..which of course shouldn’t be the case for a $10 kit that is expensive for what it is.

@@Harlow_Khmerdo a cheap uv. DON'T GET A ONE THAT YOU HAVE TO MIX. IT WILL BE A HUGE PAIN IN YOUR @SS IT'S INCREDIBLY FINICKY. Also, even if it's "odorless" still wear a mask. It's horrible to breathe it in & many miss that. You will get headaches, & it will make you feel sick over time. Just use a medical mask you can (usually) get at CVS. A good company will send you one tho
i'm glad youtubers have been bringing this up because i've noticed this with my drink miniverse, but most of my miniverse has been okay i just think we need more resin. like for an example i got the kitchen set and it comes with a coco-berry milk drink but the resin didn't really fill it up as much as i planned but i used the ice as much as i could to fill it up more
Yeah I got this and was very disappointed when I didn’t have enough resin to finish I thought I just got unlucky so I had it sitting upside down all night but still nothing glad to see I’m not the only one with this problem
I couldn't even fill half the glass and that was with all the ice! I kind of spread the resin around on the inside of the glass to make it look more full. Luckily the whipped cream was tight on the straw so I could make it stay up far enough to look somewhat ok. Disappointing for the price paid!
Don’t like matcha either it’s icky … as far as the resin the cup 🫙 is bigger then resin container so you’d think they notice that. Detail is supposed to be their thing

Given how popular the mini brands universe has become, along with the fact they generally go into great lengths into making each item look exactly like it’s true form, down to microscopic writing or other small details, that they could spare another drop or two of resin. That’s all we literally need are a couple of drops!!
I love these videos. Minis are so cool but I have way too many other expensive hobbies (crochet amigurumi, gardening, lizards, etc.) I'm glad I can still experience them for you.
I got this same exact mini, it was my first time ever getting one because I watched a bunch of your videos and loved them so much. I have to say I was so disappointed I had the same issues and decided to just watch your videos instead of buying more minis
I used to work for MGAs Customer service!! Go to the website and file a complaint or call the number for their customer service in your region tell them what’s wrong and they should send you a new one!! Just make sure you keep your toy packaging and receipts incase they need the serial number and proof of purchase!! Sometimes they’ll send extra goodies and extend the replacement complaint time limit from 30 to 60 days if it was bought during the Christmas season!!
Hey yall! If you keep the leftover ingredients from previous mini-verses you can add them to your mini-verse like in this case they didn’t have enough if you have clear resin then stir it will look good. So I advise keeping previous things sometimes you might wanna add to it
I personally have had the same issues with other ones. Andive seen a bunch of posts and videos saying the same thing! Hopefully after enough people complain they will change it! 🤞
I know this is an old comment but if you put the bottles with the lids off under UV/sun and let it cure, you don't have to worry about getting the resin out, it just gets hard and you can safely keep the bottles!
Also, in the make it mini lifestyle, I got the candles and there was only a little bit of resin. I got so upset because the second candle there was only like a quarter of resin.
Same because when I opened up my kitchen mini verse When I did the pink drink There wasn’t enough, but I tried adding soap water so it didn’t work it. So I ended out keeping it, and then I added strawberries and things and then with the Grazer I added a tiny bit of that and yeah it worked but yeah was a bit of a struggle❤ and I love you so so much you are the best and if you haven’t watched people that are fans go watch opening up Coles mini toys 😅❤.
This happened to me too, I ended up adding leftover resin from other minis but it ended looking more dirty orange and not pink😂 so I just pretend it’s iced tea with strawberries lol
I’ve had the exact same problem with the miniverse make it lifestyle Garden Rose & Pumpkin Spice candles. I was so frustrated I resorted to cutting the resin bottles open.
I use my kitchen shears to cut the bottom off the bottles and use one of the spreaders from a kit to dig the resin out. That works for me and I had enough.
I got the jar of pickles when I first got my Miniverse one at Kohl’s and hear the pickle shaking if you ended up shaking it when you got it. just some advice!, It turned out so cute❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If you want a easy fix cut out the back of the small ice bag, scrunch it up and put in the glass. It will help fill the space and will either not be visible or look lite pieces of ice.
Same thing happened to me when I got a mini verse I tried to make a drink and nothing came out of the bottle so I had to use some scraps from another one. I used to make it. I was so mad.😢😢
You can always get UV resin from a hobby store and mix them together or you can coat the inside of the glass with the colored resin and then fill the inside with the clear resin to conserve and make it look more filledz
Yep i had the same issue with the candles set An did everything i could but in the end i had to use the resin from another kit for the second candle. So i 100% agree they don't give us enough.❤
Sometimes there's too little, but there is often enough if you cut it open. I cut it vertically after I already, carefully, cut the label off, cause I collect the empties so I DON'T want to completely destroy the bottle. Then I can glue the bottle back together, put the wrapper back on to over the cut line, and screw the top back on So, still super annoying, but that's worked every time I've "run out"
Stopped getting the series 2 decoration ones when two identical candles had nearly no resin in the bottle. Even left the containers to drain FOR A WEEK! In the fish ones there is always plenty, so much I use it to seal the other series that don't have resin like the plants and birds
My issue was the resin not curing. My son got one of the desserts (a cake or pie) and I didn't think to tell him to cure it in layers. So he loaded it up and cured it. And as I went to put the ribbon on it for him the uncured resin squirted our all over me. He was super bummed. I tried my best to squeeze it all out and cure it several more times but the opaque white resin just wouldn't cure. Next time I'll have to make him do it in layers but that sucked and was a huge mess.

What I did was I took some white resin from another one and added it to the top with have it a cream ombré effect so it looked like you put some creamer before the whipped cream or the whipped cream had melted a bit i honestly like how it turned out my advice to use what you have left over
What they should've done is used clear resin to make the straw stick to the cup then the rest could've been liquid and yes its missing mini boba pearls and sealed closed with more clear resin and you have a shakeable miniature bonus points if they could make them smell what their based off of
I dont know if it works for all the series of these but i read that there's actually a hack to figure out what's inside! Apparently in certain places theres a small hole in the outer wrapper and depending on the place of the hole depends on what is inside! Theres guides online as far as i know!
I'm a woman and put the resin bottle under my boob to warm up and so far I've never had an issue with the amount of resin. Putting it in hot water didn't work for me, but getting it to body temperature does. Sometimes it makes it a bit too runny, and you've got to be careful not to spread it everywhere!
I had the pink lemonade. Didn’t even fill it 1/4 of the way. So I cut it open. There’s a lip around the opening of the bottle that doesn’t allow any to come out. They do that so you buy more kits to get more resin. But just cut it in half long ways and scoop it out. It’s super messy but there was SO much resin stuck in the bottle I was able to make 3 drinks out of one bottle
Got this exact kit and had the exact same problem and the hole for the straw to go through the whipped cream wasn’t big enough either so some modifications were needed. But I do feel like maybe they did have a manufacturer issue with a batch, especially if they were making them quickly to fill shelves.

I made the smoothie one and adding the “ice” was messy. I ended up mixing it with a popsicle stick instead of the straw. I also had to cure as I went vs placing all of the fruits on the top before curing due to the fruit constantly sinking in the resin. Overall it came out cut though.
You should’ve added the ice cubes first and then pour the liquid. Probably had to do some space so it doesn’t overflow and it made some space for the whip cream so that’s why so it doesn’t overflow the whole thing.
Ive also had this issue with the decor mini verse, i got the pink glow in the dark rose candles and i could only fill up the small candle, i was really disappointed :(
The resin containers that look like jugs of juice or in this case tea, are always the worst ones with the resin. Hard to squeeze because the shape so you don’t get much out. If you don’t have resin left over from a previous kit, the matcha may be more of a sip than a cup full. 😅
Nerdecrafter had the same issue with the small amount of resin. She got lucky and got the pickles, and it's so cute

Yeah I always see littles bottles of it at most craft stores. It could definitely go a long way if you mixed just a few drops of that in.

I had the same problem with the rose candles!!!! The picture showed them as full, mine are only half full!!!
Same here with two rose and 1 pumkin and a uccalyptis candle. It's so frustrating.

The same thing happened to me when I got the matcha latte I couldn't squeeze it out but I managed to add some ice so it would raise up too
The resin is also hard to get out of the container if you want to keep it and collect them like I do

I usually just cut the resin bottle open and scrape out the extra resin with a popsicle stick. It works really well.
In cases like this, more is actually more. It ruins it if you don't have enough.

My issue was the resin not curing.

That has been my problem to it doesn’t even come out how I want it to because I don’t have enough resin
I always cut open such bottles with a crafting knife if it has that consistency. Much easier to scoop out for me.
If you get a drink or a jar of something and If you get ice put in the ice first and then Carefully bang it in the table hope this helps😊😊😊
