Only to leave his trademark behind, - a golden lighter - as a token of their unfinished promise and for the sacrifice that he will always hold in his mind and heart. For the atonement the younger faced in his last decision to turn that gun around to him and not into the air, and to take that final bullet of redemption. For his sins, for his freedom. To save lives at the risk of his own. Because HanSeo did not die in vain, only to be forgotten. He died, protecting his Vinnie hyung.

This is how the series ended (in my brain) Han Seo is living in the private Island in Malta recovering and starting over again with Vincenzo. He sometimes comes to Korea to see Babel corp. and everyone at Geumga plaza specially my beautiful pianist-hacker Seo Mi-ri 🥰🥰🥰 . I also like to think that Hong Cha-young continued Jipuragi firm and handled every law suit the Mafia way coz shes perfect being the boss in a gang 😝😝😝 involving every single character in the plaza. Then Vincenzo and Cha-young gets married in Italy bringing along every one from Geumga and meeting the mafia family (especially Luca 😍). Happy music blaring through the vineyards as Han Seo and Seo Miri was taunted by every one to get married next 🥰 I dont need season 2. The drama ended happily in my head. Thanks
