Do you know when I can catch L791 in northern Pinellas? I’m in town for the holidays. If it goes towards St. Pete on certain days I can be down that way or if it goes to Tampa I’m usually around Oldsmar, it’s just hard to track it down when I have no idea when it goes which way
@@Eric5ohhh Yeah it can be difficult to tell which days it goes where. I have seen it in st pete pretty regularly on Thursdays. If you want to make sure to get it they start at Belleair siding in Clearwater at like 6am and either go to Tampa or down to St. Petersburg.
@ Thanks for the info, I’m very close to the Belleair siding as I type this. There’s a lash up of cars sitting on the main but no locomotive in sight, if watch long enough do you think they will return at some point today? And is the yard office “home base” so to speak for any locomotive working this line?
@@Eric5ohhh Yep they call the office and siding Clearwater Yard. It’s where they start and end most days. They do stay in Tampa sometimes though and bring it back the next day
@@AmtrakTBLso I’m in town and went to the yard office over the weekend… ghost town. No cars on the siding no locomotive tied up. That’s probably normal. I waited around all day near the tracks from 7am today (Monday) to see if they were coming from Tampa but nothing ever came. Does this mean they’re coming the next day perhaps? I really want to get some videos of this line but I can’t waste my time like I just did lol
Fascinating. I wonder if they'll ship repair parts for the Trop down there and unload them (if they rebuild it).
Sweet that’s a great catch
