    Congrats on fantastic tutorial, love when people talk about what they really know, "hows" and "donts" about anything really as it then becomes honest and pure teaching, pure joy to watch and listen and hopefully learn, thanks again !

    Thank you to both the Artis and the camera lady for taking the time to make this . It was quite informative. I am wanting to try this on some bones before I do any horns or antlers .

    Hi Justin! Thanks so much for your information. At around 17:00, were you scratching off the Sharpie with an abrasive, or was it an alcohol product?

    Fantastic instructions and tips. I am just starting out and was wondering about using the permanent markers.

    • @lacyjoy
      @lacyjoy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah you can use permanent markers I use permanent markers myself the only thing is that you have to steel wool the marker off cuz it's really difficult to remove but the the ankle stay in the lines when you do a better alternative is to get a small bottle of India ink in a paintbrush cuz then it's a little easier to move around and wipe off

    So...it's 4/20/21... I've finished with my first horn. I WISH I'D FOUND THIS VIDEO... before I started. I cannot go back and start over. However, IF, and that's a big if, if I ever do another one the information you shared will make that one so much better. This first one looks like a ten year old did it.

      It just takes practice always learning something new and improving, take what you learned from your first one and use it on the next

    Whales and ships … that would be much more appropriate on a whale tooth….. powder horns are for land battles or hunting.
