Looking at it I don’t understand how that counter weight and hoist assembly attaches to the crane body, one of the hooks seems upside down? Clever though, great video thanks.
The bottom hook (upside down one) prevents it from pulling up when the luffing jib bridle is attached to the crane. The top is part is a pin that goes through a hole. At 2:40 you can see the hole where the pin goes through. It is a very think pin and will hold the weight of the whole tray.
