I did door to door a few years back and I dropped off my CV and I was employed there after 3 days🤗and I am still there today. So I can agree it really works
I love this video, you have raised a profound issue which every law student in first year should be sensitised to. I cannot stress the importance of vac work enough. In addition to the exposure to will be equipped with, particularly procedural law, it gives you somewhat of a competitive advantage. It's also important to research the firm you've landed an interview with, understand who they are and what they do. Extra mural activities during your studies are also beneficial, some firms look beyond the academic record, they look for an all-rounded individual. Lastly, some individuals in the profession will tell you that internships are a waste of time. I disagree on the basis that they beef up your CV, you are able to put some money aside towards PLT, and you will most probably have access to your employer's panel of attorneys, you'll be able to nextwork and build relationships
Im in my third year and i know the pain of online applications..yoh iyakhataza lento. I have done a couple of door to door mara COVID had to ruin everything. But ey we never give up.
Wooooow thnak you so much sis, God bless you. Ive been struggling to get Articles, but definitely i will try the solution of door to door, and even get someone closer to the law firm to send CVs. Thank you so much for your help🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the advice so in which areas of Johannesburg do you think we should target when seeking articles and which is mostly populated with law firms
Hey dear, Parktown has a lot of firms, Sandton, Rosebank and Marble towers also remember to target other companies that can provide you with good experience, we don't all have to jump straight into articles.
Thank you very much i appreciate it this video Has literally made my day as i have been applying online with no success.I would also encourage you to do more informative videos such as these as they really play a good role in peoples lives
Most definitely, thank you so much for watching, and please do share with any other under grad you know... I wish i had known all this in first year, i pray this video and those to follow reach as much ppl in need of the info. I have compiled another video that I will upload later in the week, i believe it will be helpful as well 🤗🤗🤗 All the best with your applications 🙏
Vacation work, which is work you do during holidays in order to gain experience, sort of prepares you for being in the work environment..... Watch all videos under employment you will have a clear understanding.

Thank you for this video💖💪🏽. It's highly appreciated 💯👏🏽
Great content and your advice is practical. Enkosi, you are awesome.
Question, the CV I'll be dropping would have tailored made cover letters , I'm asking if I'm dropping like 30 CV in town
Hey, yes all your cover letters must be tailor made, generic cover letters throw off recruiters.
Definitely trying this
I hope it worked out for you :)
