Just got a Vauxhall Grandland, and saw the OnStar button in the car so found your video this looks so cool! Just found out it came to an end a few days ago, such a shame, great video though.

My free subscription runs out in a few days time and I'm trying to get opinions from others in the same boat as to whether to pay the £90 to continue for the next year or not. I have never used the system and hope I never have to. The only time it may be of help is in the event of an accident or breakdown. I don't use the wi-fi and can't think of any other use for it other than peace of mind just in case of a disaster. Also, as it discontinues Dec 2020, what then?? Great vid btw.😎😎
Hello John, thanks for watching. It's a difficult one, as it would be sod's law that you choose not to renew the subscription and then find you need to use it at some point. Maybe it's best to pay it if you really need that peace of mind.
@ Car Obsession, thanks for your quick reply. I think you are right and it's probably what I shall do. I'll give them a ring first and see if I can negotiate a price that is more realistic. I pay less than £90 for my RAC cover.😉

Such a shame that this will come to an end in 2020. Being able to track your car if it was stolen should carry on some how.

Just bought an Astra 2017 it's got no nav but it's got this shit thing so disappointed.
