I remember when my mega blade from Samurai started acting up a few years after I got it yet somehow it never occurred to me until a few months ago to just replace the batteries 😅 It works fine now but I have no idea why it took my THIS LONG to figure that out…

And the only reason I'd want the Gokaiger mecha instead of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce versions is because of the Lion. Gokaiger's Gaolion is pretty much screen accurate for how it works. Meanwhile, the Lion Wildzord is...fine on its own and for Legendary Megazord w/Wildforce Power. It's the Samurai mode that kills it. Completely disgusting compared to Shinken Gokaioh. Of course, a large part of that is because of how Bandai America redesigned Gokaioh into the Legendary Megazord.
It was cool that Bandai gave the Turbo Falcon a Megazord mode, but Japan was really the way to go with Zords that year. They seriously needed at least some stickers...

But I think that they also took away the neutered RPM style Turbo Falcon & Legendary Ultrazord Engine Cells for it (pretty sure the Turbo Falcon doesn't even have the slots for it anyway, unlike Engine Machalcon being a perfect nod to Go-Onger.) That doesn't bother me much since we never even got all the RPM Engine Cells anyway. But what they did to the Lion is just unforgivable.
I appreciate this video a lot! A lot of people on the site who cover Tokusatsu stuff typically focus on what's new and hot but y'all have always set time aside to look into the backlog of what's been produced for the series and it's awesome. The cleaning tips are great too, I've been meaning to dust off my collection lately and this motivated me lol. Happy to see y'all keeping on as a viewer of 11-12~ years now.

A lot of good information here. I have bought several things from this eBay seller and have been pleased with them. I also use the second plastic cleaner you have listed. You can get a pack which actually has a scratch remover in it too. You’ve inspired me to go get the last couple things I need to complete my Gokaiger set. Like you though, I want to be able to display the ultra formation, as well as the mecha by themselves. I did preorder DX King-Ohger.
You know it maybe a little more work but it could still be more effective than the method that I was taught with to get ride of those Glue Remains Off, and that was using a Strip of Tape and Roll it in to a Circle and just keep on Slapping it on the Area(s) that still have the Glue Remains on them.
Hmm... I'd be a little hesitant to add more sticky. I guess it depends on what tape. It seems like that either wouldn't be as effective or could potentially do more damage. Then again I suppose heat, Goo Gone, and water sound dangerous too. I've also heard people suggest lighter fluid, I don't have any handy, so I haven't tried. But, my box is currently smooth and shiny.
I felt like I went back in time to an earlier video where I believe it had Star Trek Ninja Turtles (sure why not, Bruno's words, not mine), and he went over all the stuff with the Donblaster, and honestly I like that kind of stuff, if I'm older and that stuff to clean with is still available, I seriously might come back to these videos for how to clean this specific stuff
As much as I love the big cluster fucks mecha that just pile every possible thing together I've always kinda preferred this approach where we get a series of meaningful small mechs that serve their own purpose before finally giving way to final combination. Bonus points if the earlier mecha later combine into a secondary megazord.

This was a good find. Not cheep, but there are a lot of good prices on stuff from that seller compared to what other's are selling them for. If I had the money to spend there's a few things that would really be tempting me.
Yeah, that was a good deal. I think I paid like $250ish total. That was Gokai-Oh, GoZyuJin, Machalcon, and it also came with the Dragon. That's a lot of stuff, and free shipping. There was another similar auction for $200 but some metal parts had rusted and there was some other damage. I almost bought it and thought maybe it could be a project for this channel I never tried to remove rust before. But when I saw this auction I decided to just get one that was in better condition. It got here in like three days. Seller e-mailed me right away to say they shipped it. I was very happy with them, so, hopefully I can send some people their way.

Hey Bruno I’ve a Kamen Rider driver & I know you can’t see it & it’s got lights & sound what’s the best Plastic cleaner cause I’m not sure if Polish will do it. Mias on to you 😏😏.
There's only one plastic cleaner, it's the one I keep showing. I gave two different links but it's the same stuff. That's it. The Kamen Rider stuff I own is the same Bandai Zord plastic and that cleaner works just the same on it. I've shown every way I clean things on the channel already, including with stickers and electronics. Have you seen those videos already? One was with Pyramidas, that's a much older one. A few years ago I showed Abaranger, Thunder Megazord... I'm sure one of the ways I've shown will work for whatever your issue is, unless it's white plastic that turned yellow. That's a different thing. But dirt/dust/etc, this is how you do it. You can carefully use water too, as I've shown in some other videos.
Awesome video! I really liked the Gokaiger series of toys even if they didn't All merged into on massive thing. it's actually the last sentai toys I bought. I stopped watching the show after ToQger. I'll try the plastic cleaner on my Gundams to see if could make them look more "metalic" with that shine.
One of my few disappointments with zord builder was when I tried to connect the 2010 megazord with wild lion zord similar to GoaGoKaiOh, but the t-Rex legs were at a different angle and so it wouldn’t connect.

Do you suggest cleanin it before putting new stickers on it? Will the plastic cleaner make the stickers not stick? Will a micro fiber cloth work well for this?
I can't see your specific figure, but cleaning it is probably a good idea either way. If you're removing stickers then you really don't need to worry about getting it wet. You can use liquid soap and water. Sometimes stickers can be a pain to get off. Hot water/hairdryer can help with that, and sometimes I use Goo Gone, especially if the plastic is still sticky after you remove the stickers. I'd be more concerned about the Goo Gone, make sure you wash with soap/water before applying stickers. The plastic cleaner is probably fine, as long as it's dry. I'm sure I've used plastic cleaner in the past and then applied stickers.
Can you add the body of gokaioh onto the lion, add the left arm and helmet of the ultrazord with the giant fist, the dragonzord as the chest piece, then the ninjazord as the right arm holding one of the SPD guns? I feel like that'd be the ULTIMATE combo from this series.
Take a look at the Zords at 0:00. How are you envisioning they fit inside each other? That's physically impossible unless they were drastically different sizes. Take red for example. How much smaller would green need to be, to fit inside red? Then take blue, how much smaller would that need to be to now fit inside green? And so on. If there was a toy like that, I never saw it. These most certainly cannot do that.
@@MMPRtoys Fake Gokai-Oh appeared in the Ghost Ship movie and was used by the villain, but it never got a toy-release because it was mostly the same as base Gokai-Oh, just with an eye-patch, hook on Green's mecha, a cape, and skull and crossbones in place of the Gokaiger logo. Far as I know, it never got a release because of those minor cosmetic changes, and really, I would have expected the black Gokai Galleon from Go-Busters VS Gokaiger to get some form of release.

Oh.... no...... I recently decided to pick up past sentai toys that I missed out on and Gokaiger was one of the seasons I decided to skip. But this video is making it real hard to stick to that decision >:(
I can certainly relate to collecting with limited resources or space. Gokaiger’s a pretty epic season though, to say the least, and it’s cool that their Zords represent some older season that you might be missing as well. Do you care about boxes? If not, these eBay lots I’m showing are great. I probably don’t want to know what I originally spent on Gokaiger mecha when they were all new, but this lot (after shipping and tax), was still under $200. It was for Gokai-Oh, GoZyuJin, Machalcon, & MagiDragon. And I see lots like that fairly often. I have a lot more space now but I still don’t collect pre-Zyuranger. I had to draw the line somewhere (though I have been buying the model kits).

I can't see the condition of your figures. I generally do not use it on Zords. It's more for figures with tiny pieces that are being pulled or pushed and are in danger of snapping. If these needed the hair dryer to prevent breaking I most certainly would have mentioned that in the video. The ones in my collection all seem fine.

Hey Bruno, off topic, but I wanted to ask if you finished watching Zenkaiger. I started rewatching some of it - it’s such a fun show! In some ways the utter reverse of Don Brothers, which I think you’ll really like too when you see more of that series too. I only just reached the middle of Don Brothers, and it’s been so amazing with the creative writing from the guy who wrote for Jetman. If you cover either in a video or a Patreon video I’d love to hear your opinions about it.
Doesn't look like my Zenkaiger DVDs have shipped yet. Estimated Mar 16 to Mar 27. Then I'm sure we'll swiftly marathon that within the next few decades :-D I think ToQger was the last season we watched. We're a little behind. Honestly, if I'm awake, I'm editing a TH-cam video. That's really all we do. No secrets. Especially Power Ranger related. If we'd seen all of Zenkaiger (and DonBrothers) there'd have been some indication somewhere. We've got a dedicated all-things Power Rangers/Sentai channel. The only TV we watch is falling asleep at night, which isn't even all the time, but it's usually something on Netflix that doesn't have subtitles. The way TH-cam is now, when one thing is posted, I'm already on to the next thing, and nothing gets posted fast enough even on that schedule. So, this video went up yesterday, and then I got right on to the new Patron vlog and Mia's working on the next MMPRtoys thing, and so on. You can see this video's off to a pretty slow start so we really gotta get onto the next thing, and hopefully something that people are actually interested in. (I did think a mass-Gokaiger video might appeal to a few more people...)

I can't see your specific figure, but cleaning it is probably a good idea either way. If you're removing stickers then you really don't need to worry about getting it wet. You can use liquid soap and water. Sometimes stickers can be a pain to get off. Hot water/hairdryer can help with that, and sometimes I use Goo Gone, especially if the plastic is still sticky after you remove the stickers. I'd be more concerned about the Goo Gone, make sure you wash with soap/water before applying stickers. The plastic cleaner is probably fine, as long as it's dry. I'm sure I've used plastic cleaner in the past and then applied stickers.

Can you add the body of gokaioh onto the lion, add the left arm and helmet of the ultrazord with the giant fist, the dragonzord as the chest piece, then the ninjazord as the right arm holding one of the SPD guns? I feel like that'd be the ULTIMATE combo from this series.

Take a look at the Zords at 0:00. How are you envisioning they fit inside each other? That's physically impossible unless they were drastically different sizes. Take red for example. How much smaller would green need to be, to fit inside red? Then take blue, how much smaller would that need to be to now fit inside green? And so on. If there was a toy like that, I never saw it. These most certainly cannot do that.

@@MMPRtoys Fake Gokai-Oh appeared in the Ghost Ship movie and was used by the villain, but it never got a toy-release because it was mostly the same as base Gokai-Oh, just with an eye-patch, hook on Green's mecha, a cape, and skull and crossbones in place of the Gokaiger logo.
Far as I know, it never got a release because of those minor cosmetic changes, and really, I would have expected the black Gokai Galleon from Go-Busters VS Gokaiger to get some form of release.

Oh.... no...... I recently decided to pick up past sentai toys that I missed out on and Gokaiger was one of the seasons I decided to skip. But this video is making it real hard to stick to that decision

I can certainly relate to collecting with limited resources or space. Gokaiger’s a pretty epic season though, to say the least, and it’s cool that their Zords represent some older season that you might be missing as well.
Do you care about boxes? If not, these eBay lots I’m showing are great. I probably don’t want to know what I originally spent on Gokaiger mecha when they were all new, but this lot (after shipping and tax), was still under $200. It was for Gokai-Oh, GoZyuJin, Machalcon, & MagiDragon. And I see lots like that fairly often.
I have a lot more space now but I still don’t collect pre-Zyuranger. I had to draw the line somewhere (though I have been buying the model kits).
I’ll never forget that time you used the spinning zord tail to mix cake batter 😂 though that might’ve been abaranger red’s tail and not gokai silver

Do you need to use a hair dryer in order to not have these Gokaiger figures break?
I can't see the condition of your figures. I generally do not use it on Zords. It's more for figures with tiny pieces that are being pulled or pushed and are in danger of snapping. If these needed the hair dryer to prevent breaking I most certainly would have mentioned that in the video. The ones in my collection all seem fine.

Hey Bruno, off topic, but I wanted to ask if you finished watching Zenkaiger. I started rewatching some of it - it’s such a fun show! In some ways the utter reverse of Don Brothers, which I think you’ll really like too when you see more of that series too. I only just reached the middle of Don Brothers, and it’s been so amazing with the creative writing from the guy who wrote for Jetman.
If you cover either in a video or a Patreon video I’d love to hear your opinions about it.
Doesn't look like my Zenkaiger DVDs have shipped yet. Estimated Mar 16 to Mar 27. Then I'm sure we'll swiftly marathon that within the next few decades :-D I think ToQger was the last season we watched. We're a little behind. Honestly, if I'm awake, I'm editing a TH-cam video. That's really all we do. No secrets. Especially Power Ranger related. If we'd seen all of Zenkaiger (and DonBrothers) there'd have been some indication somewhere. We've got a dedicated all-things Power Rangers/Sentai channel. The only TV we watch is falling asleep at night, which isn't even all the time, but it's usually something on Netflix that doesn't have subtitles. The way TH-cam is now, when one thing is posted, I'm already on to the next thing, and nothing gets posted fast enough even on that schedule. So, this video went up yesterday, and then I got right on to the new Patron vlog and Mia's working on the next MMPRtoys thing, and so on. You can see this video's off to a pretty slow start so we really gotta get onto the next thing, and hopefully something that people are actually interested in. (I did think a mass-Gokaiger video might appeal to a few more people...)
