    I didn't look to see if any one else mentioned this, but character skills learned from different jobs are NOT different between each character. All playable characters will learn the same character skills from every job. Every job has 2 character skills that can be learned and the only difference between character skills and job skills is as you mentioned where they can be used regardless of what job that character currently has.

    So if you see a job rank up perk of +10 HP for example, does that affect your base stats whether or not that job is equipped? I know the normal Stat boosts from ranking up are tied to the job, but curious about those special ones that get called out like skills.

    • @RozalinGaming

      Job abilities stop between rank 28 - 32 depending on the job; after that, it's simply stat increases.

    • @Vashimu
      @Vashimu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      and that is correct. Passive skills take over even if u change the job so it makes sense to test other jobs just to get some stat points up. U can test it easy when u wright down the one stat like attack in one job like i have 200atk with ichiban in hero right now. Then change him to breakdancer and lvl this job just to lvl 2 and he gets a passive skill +5 atk. When u change then back to hero his atk will be 205 because of the passive from breakdancer.

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Passive stat increases are job specific. However, each job has 2 abilities designated as "character abilities" that carry over. In my job showcase videos I designate these in a different color when showing the abilities.

    I’m afraid to change jobs because my characters all seem to have status decreases. Is this correct? How long will it take for them to build back up?

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Stats decrease because a job modifies the character's stats and lower level jobs will have lower stats. That being said, it's almost always worth branching out into other jobs for the skills, and because it's just fun. The game isn't hard enough to where having lower level jobs for a while will punish you.

      @@RozalinGaming thanks for the reply. I don’t normally play RPG’s so I was confused. I was looking at the stats before I change jobs and I was thinking the game would be harder because some of the stats decreased so heavily. How does this work? It says every other job will bring my stats down?

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's because you have to level up jobs independently. Switching jobs will bring your stats down temporarily but that's normal.

    What's the best time to switch jobs? Should I switch mid-way. For example, I went back to Freelance for Ichi, because I wanted to rank it up so I can learn the remaining abilities before finishing Hero as that is the best job for him. But it's moving quiet slow and I'm worried I'll be stuck with the Freelance job until near the end of the game.

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Whenever you want; to be honest, I completely ignored the Freelance job since none of the abilities seemed necessary. That being said, it will be slow for leveling jobs since most max out on abilities around level 28. Once you unlock the arena you can do the final 5 floors over and over to relatively quickly get jobs to that level, but until then it will be slow.

    Why is all the text in Japanese when theirs an English version

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      (1) Because I speak Japanese and purchased the Japanese version almost a year before the Western version was released.
      (2) Because I made this video before the Western version was released in order to let fans know about the new combat system; something that would be impossible to do with a Western copy of the game without time-travel.
      (3) I can't time-travel for (2).
      (4) Because I didn't want to purchase the game twice, and I didn't want to wait to start putting out content for the game when I already had it.

    • @RozalinGaming
      @RozalinGaming  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@FinalFantasyFan66666 I make my videos in a way such that the on-screen text doesn't matter because many of my viewers can't read Japanese. If on-screen text is ever relevant, I translate it myself and/or go into explanation about what is being discussed. For this video specifically, the actual jobs and their names were not the important part -- I have separate videos for that -- the important part was explaining the new system. That all being said, if you require all the text in background footage to be in English even if it's not important or relevant, then my channel probably isn't for you.
