The the ME-109s came over at mark 9:00 I was just amazed at the detail they put into the sound and physics.
When those German planes flew over that had to be the coolest sound I've ever heard come from a video game

This looks pretty real. I know the area around Arnhem pretty well cuz my inlaws grew up there. This really looks like Dutch countryside. Never saw it this well done in a tac shooter, o7 to the devs..!

Agreed, I love that. I was playing squad and there were birds chirping and I felt so immersed. Cus most games throw in some “ultra epic badass action music” but with just these sounds it feels so much more real
don't most animals historically tend to go silent when rounds and shells start poppin off? ambience is always a nice touch tho.

Aka Rasta it's on the table atm with the devs, they said there will be balanced game modes and "historic". Ie germans with armor and British paradrop with handheld at, I'm sure eventually this will be a vanilla game mechanic, if not a server choice.

Devil any chance to play Hearts of Iron 4 again? you don't have to play Millennium Dawn.. there are a tons of cool mods out there, like Kaiserreich, Road to 56 etc
and Paradox have been adding more stuffs into the game, and Waking the Tiger DLC will change a lots of things

Looks really good... will they be adding a destructible environment? Nothing worse than pounding a house with artillery and have it look like the day it was built.
Jeff Burger I'm sure the devs have said that they didn't plan for destructible environments early on and so it won't be implemented.

I literally bought squad a few months ago, and I was playing and just thought that a WWII version of the game would be amazing and now here it is. Don't really play squad that much but I will be playing this!
