All of those changing speed limits in MA would drive me insane! It’s amazing how short distances are in the Northeast. I also notice they name everything after people. We don’t really do that in the West. Roads and bridges yes, but not entire highways.
Freeway Franks Maybe. I think part of it is because how urban planning has changed. When cities started being laid out on grids, there was a lot more “1st Street,” “2nd Avenue,” and so on. Old cities with a Byzantine road system tend to name them all after people you’ve never heard of.
They change mostly cause 91 goes right through the middle of Springfield, but most of the time people just drive like the limit is 65 mph anyway 🤣. It's Massachusetts after all!
Great drive! Cool to see Hartford as I have some old friends who live there. I also found the nice and wide paved “shoulder” between the HOV lanes and the regular lanes to be quite intriguing.
Thank you Keaton ! Then I bet you went to Hartford several time to see your friends? It's a nice area but I've preferred NH, ME and VT in the New England region.
Worked on this portion (repaving) of I-91 between Hartford and Windsor. Lived in CT all my life, never knew this interstate highway was named after anybody.
Very nice Gregg! It was my first time ever visiting CT and found it quite interesting. I made the Chester Bowles Highway and it's quite scenic at times! Thanks for stopping by.
I can't wait to get down there. It's only a matter of time. There are so much places I want to visit that I can't make all of them at the same time lol But yeah, every major US cities along the Atlantic coast seems interesting to me! Any suggestions of Stretches of roads that I could film ? Thanks for watching.
I don't know for others, but personally I'm staying in the middle lane because you get a better view of the road. But when camera is off and there is no one ahead, I try to always stay in the right most lane.
The right lane always has drivers merging onto the highway on every exit and I try to avoid them. If I drive in the left lane I will piss off the faster drivers. So I stay in the middle lane until I’m near my exit.
Thanks ! But according to me, being able to make good videos is only coming with time and experience. One that want to become super good in a short period of time will quickly be dissapointed. It's a mid/Long term thing. that come with alot of work.
I heard that there working on the Dexter Coffin Bridge redecking both sides of the bridge. They started the project I think last year.
Thanks for the info. It must have changed a bit since then. This was filmed 6 years ago. Thanks for watching!

3:03 That’s my exit.
Cool!

Drew Conway The Yellowhood highway in western Canada is named after a First Nations leader.
Trans Canada Phil I was speaking of the Western US.
Oh I've never noticed that. Is it because the New England region is older with more history, then more famous people to name after?

Maybe I-95 from George Washington bridge to I-287 in Edison?
I've looked at it, great idea! I would only do it on opposite direction to end with the bridge :)
Ok! Thanks
Freeway Franks New Haven Ct to the George Washington bridge is also a good drive though there is usually lots of traffic
Why does everyone avoid the rightmost lane? it get's lonely :(

Excellent video... can't believe their still interstates that regulate speed's of 55mph..😨
Thanks! I know, that drive me nuts lol
I wonder how fast I would have to make my FreewayMax videos to make it as good as yours.
I actually went to Bradley Airport before making my video. (5:46)
Nice. How is it looking? Modern?
