I been running this deck but slightly different, only need one mew since its harder to attain energy with this deck, i also use a leaf in place of one of the x speeds to help get gengar on and off in a bind, stall with mew or jynx or one gastly to get one gengar powered up, then have jynx in the back to scare away the energy farmering decks like gyarados and celebi
Been enjoying your content dude.. perhaps the G2 Loss you should have fed him your gastly rather than your mew then you could of offered to use Jinx for a hit later and would of been, then his new two is either week or you out damage his high energy mew with jinx and trade out your jinx with a charged mew! Looking forward to future uploads!
@@Tonytan-q8k man every loss is a lesson, since IV started steaming pocket IV noticed it's so much harder to lock in and do commentary and still make the right plays. Do you have discord/X always looking for people to practise with!
You can use leaf if you want but everything in the deck has only 1 retreat cost except Gengar EX so we play x speed just in case we want to combo it with a Trainer card since the trainer cards are only once per turn 👍

i honestly think the leaf makes sense for that situation. I like how in this meta we have jynx as a reliable threat. nice profile pic btw lol

I think Gengar needs psychic type a staller like weezing to be good
Yeah or a way to ramp 1 psychic energy faster like a Brock but then what would be too strong maybe 😅

Gengar ex is crap atm, to low damage and or to expensive with 3 energy required
If only his ability was active while he is in the bench. That would make him better I think 🤔
