  • In Islam, "predestination" is the usual English language rendering of a belief that Muslims call al-qaḍāʾ wa l-qadar ([ælqɑˈdˤɑːʔ wælˈqɑdɑr] القضاء والقدر). The phrase means "the divine decree and the predestination"; al-qadr derives from a root that means to measure out.

Glory be to Allah! I asked Allah to give me knowledge of this subject (Al Qadar) and Al Hamdulilah who made my dua happen. Indeed Allah is All Hearing of Dua!
People if you want anything ask Allah The Most Kind, The Most Merciful.

    PRINCIPLE 1
The following is the order of the process of destiny
    1) God's Knowledge (of the eternal past and future)
    2) God's Recording (writing of destiny in His Book).
    3) God's Will (for the events to happen)
    4) God's Creation
He knew it, then He wrote it, then He Willed it, and then He Created it
    Creation and fashioning
    Predestination and guidance
All events, actions within the universe are a creation of God. The actions of the creation are created. However, the actions of God are 'uncreated' (i.e. divine).
    PRINCIPLE 2
God's Will is of two types:
    1) general universal Will (same meaning as Will). Does not necessarily mean it is liked by God.
For example, the disobedience and rebellion of Satan was already known by God before God created His creation. Because of His knowledge of what Satan would do, He had decreed such fate for him. The fate of Satan which God had decreed is for lessons to be extracted from, for indeed there is no evil except that good comes out of it later on.
    2) Legislative Will. This is what God loves and wants (i.e. prefers. want can be defined as Will or Preference. In this context it is Preference) legally to happen. Does not necessarily mean it will happen.
For example, God loves for all people in earth to believe in Him. But it doesn't mean that it will definitely happen.
    PRINCIPLE 3
    Actions of God:
    1) Preference/Bounty. Everything destined of good. E.g. God has destined that his righteous slaves worship Him on earth, because He loves it and prefers it.
    2) Justice. Everything destined of evil. Not attributed to Him. E.g. God has decreed wrongdoing and sins to be committed, even though He hates it, in order to show to His creatures lessons to be learnt and examples to be made. Had there been no evil in the world, the people would never know the value of good.
The entire universe is alternating between His Bounty, and His Justice.
    PRINCIPLE 4
If you cannot grasp the wisdom regarding something, then remember He is not questioned with regards to His actions while they the people are questioned.
    PRINCIPLE 5
Actions of the slaves are created, and they are responsible and accountable for them.
God created for His slaves the ability, Will, body parts and Intellect.
All of the causes leading to doing the action are created, thus the action itself is created. However, the action is done by the doer.
Had there been a creation whom God chose to serve as His Deputy and Right Hand (it is not Jesus), then temporarily delegated His Divine Power and Authority to His Deputy for a particular task, at that particular moment in time, any action God's Right Hand would perform would be 'uncreated' (Divine). This is because His Right Hand would be doing what God Himself would have done (i.e. His Deputy would be deputising Him). The Deputy of God would be the only created being at God's side who's action can be Divine.
    PRINCIPLE 6
The actions of the people are controlled by the people, they have been given choice and Will.
3 proofs that mankind has free will:
    1) Sending of messengers
    2) Choice in worldly and religious affairs
    3) The humans would never accept oppression to themselves under the excuse that it is "destiny". E.g. A person harms another person and then says "this was decreed by God" (Yes, technically, God had decreed this to happen because He knew that this person would use His free will to commit such an action. His infinite knowledge qualifies Him to decree the fate of everything in existence).
    PRINCIPLE 7
Predestination is used to prove calamities and trials, but not to prove sins and mistakes. Only after repentance can predestination be used to prove and justify past sins.
    NOTES
The recording of destiny is done in order for God to show parts of it to whomever He wishes from His creation (the angels). Whatever information the angels possess is subject to change, while whatever is in the Preserved Tablet (the book in which destiny is written) never changes (i.e. the result).
