And that ending remains one of the biggest reasons why OoE is one of my favorite Castlevania games. Shanoa is pretty aloof and emotionally disconnected for the whole game it feels like, but it pays off in a huge way with her conversation with Albus after his fight, with Barlowe, and finally here, at the end of the game. Not gonna lie, it still makes me year up every time.
Huh... Honestly, this ending was really shallow in my own opinion. I mean, I liked the game, don't get me wrong, but it's far from the best ending of the series. I never really connected to Shanoa at all in this game. Most of her character development felt really forced and honestly none of her stuff had a real emotional impact on me. I didn't care less. Honestly, if anything, Albus was the one who got the good character development. And not only that, but this whole thing of overcoming Dracula's power using his own power against him was already done in Aria of Sorrrow with far better characters and story (Soma uses Dracula's power to do battle with the core of the chaos (the source of Dracula's power or whatever it was)). There was ONE part though that did make me feel something... When she "smiles", I legit jumped in my chair because it scared the fuck out of me. I don't know what that look was, but to me it looked like nightmare fuel.
I always imagine Shanoa talking to Albus in her voice from Judgement in the good ending while Albus has Levi from AoT's voice and the ending as an anime scene
"Smile for me." Me afterward: Okay... What do I have to pay to have you NEVER look at me like that again? Seriously... What is that look? That is NOT smiling.
"Smile for me."
Me: *INTENSE CRYING.*

Well, it is my favorite
My reason is a bit more shallow, but satisfying. The younger Dracula looks, the harder he is to beat. I know this from... personal experience.
Dracula must have amazing castle insurance.... let alone life insurance
Lmaoooo🤣🤣🤣

one of the saddest games EVAR!
i couldn't get past the waterfall in albus mode :(
i got all the boss medals tho
I know this may be late, but in Albus mode you can teleport. Just press the touch screen where you want to teleport.
How Soma calls Shanoa an amusing woman.
He does? That gets even more awkward when you think about how Shanoa was the last girl Dracula hit on.
3:37
Congratulations, Shanoa. You unleashed Dracula and jeopardized human kind. Who will stop Dracula now?
so do you think they'll make a sequel?
sadly that's not really probable, the mainline is actually kind of forgotten by the company and its a mess with lord of shadows, netflix, etc
Was that Patrick Seitz?
heardofrvb the one and only...
@@emmanuelenriquez8947 You thought it was Dracula but...
IT WAS I, DIO!
Is Shanoa, Nathan Graves' grandmother?
Nah because Circle of the Moon timeline isn't canon
@@sanae99.9.9 And even if it was, it is implied that Shanoa had no children.
@@bossviper2833 yeah, most likely. Also Shanoa was in somewhere in Europe while Nathan was in Australia
@@sanae99.9.9 Australia? Do you mean Austria?
@@bossviper2833 ah yes my mistake. But Austria is in Europe tho so forget about what i said
8:29 Anya smug face XDDD!
Shanoa could be a playable character in MK 11.
Armier Hammer Hell no
Armier Hammer Shanoa's too good to be in that overrated fighting fest
MK11 is garbage.
No.

"Smile for me."
