If you're applying to extend your stay in Canada and the document (Form 5708) asks for a UCI number, you can leave it as "N/A" if you do not have one. Submit Your Application: Complete the extension application before your current status expires (by October 1). Explain Your Situation: In any additional information section, briefly explain that you do not have a UCI number because you are using an eTA. Submit on Time: Make sure to submit your application before your exit date to maintain your status while waiting for a decision. Ensure you provide all other required information and documentation to support your application. Good luck!

Hello, thank you so much for this video. Just a quick question, can I apply my siblings for an extension even before 30 days? Their 6-month stay is ending on July 31st. Can I apply for the extension as early as today? Thank you.
My visitor record is refused and in refusel letter you must leave Canada immediately… i can re enter canada after leaving.. i have 10 yrs multiple visa
If your visitor record has been refused and the letter states you must leave Canada immediately, it's important to comply with that instruction. Once you leave Canada, you can apply to re-enter, but be aware that your recent refusal may affect future entry. With a 10-year multiple-entry visa, you may still have the option to return, but border officials will assess your case upon re-entry. Ensure you have a clear reason for your visit and any necessary documentation to support your return. It might also be helpful to consult with an immigration expert for guidance on your situation.

My mother visit visa will be expired in 30th October. So. I applied for extension in 7th September. How much time it usually takes to process? If processing time expires 30th October, what my mother should do? On one hand, i haven't get decision, on the other hand, time expires. Her air ticket has not been rescheduled because of the pending decision
Processing times for visitor visa extensions can vary, but they typically take a few weeks to a few months. If a decision isn’t made by October 30, your mother may remain in Canada under "implied status" as long as she applied for the extension before her current visa expired. However, it's essential to ensure she does not leave Canada until the decision is made, as departing could affect her application. If you’re concerned about the timeline or need specific advice, consider contacting IRCC for updates on the application status.
Yes, flagpoling does count as leaving Canada. It involves exiting Canada and then re-entering, usually at a land border, to apply for a new visa or permit. It's a good idea to provide a clear and concise explanation letter when applying for a work permit from within Canada, especially if you're transitioning from a visitor visa. Strong Home Ties: This is where you can highlight your strong ties to your home country. Include details about: Family: Mention your family members living in your home country and your responsibilities to them. Employment: If you have a job waiting for you back home, mention that. Property: If you own property or have significant investments in your home country, mention that. Other Ties: Any other connections you have to your home country (e.g., community involvement, cultural ties) can be mentioned.

Always check the latest guidelines from IRCC for the most accurate information.

Thanks for the video !
Although I have a question please if you could help me out. In the section of "Details of visit to Canada" there is the question "how long do you plan to stay" (From-To) .... So I need to input the date in which my visit reaches 6 months in "From" and add another 6 moths to to input "To" ? Or any duration results in another 6 moths automatically? Knowing that I have a visitor visa valid until 2026.
I really appreciate your help !
Thanks for your feedback, any duration results in automatic extention. Try to not ask for long duration, and prove your reason to request such extention as well as Intent to Return Home 👍🇨🇦

Hello dear, I am your new subscriber, my father came two months ago I wanna extend his visitor visa. Can I apply now. It will be too early? please reply me as soon as possible.. thank you so much dear
Hi there! It's great to have you as a subscriber. It's good that you're thinking ahead about your father's visitor visa. While you can apply for an extension, it's generally recommended to do so within 30 days of the current visa's expiry date. Applying too early might not be processed, and you might need to re-apply later.

Do not apply for a extension !!!! When you enter your making a promise to leave in 6 months... dont apply... keep your promise...
