Yes, you do need to try Makeup Forever. And when you do, try the Wherever Walnut lip pencil. Ahhhmazing!! I’m excited for the eyeshadow palette of the same name. ❤

Don’t sleep on the make up forever eyeshadows I have a couple of their other prop pallets that have been on sale and they’re really good
Yes to MakeUp forever.!! the new HD Skin Hydra Glow foundation is so good. Wherever Walnut and Anywhere Caffeine are their number 1 lip pencils.
Honestly the Chanel quads are much more interesting than the ones from Pat Mcgrath in my humble opinion 😂. The pink/green one from PM looks like it's made for carnival... 😮
The 394 Chanel is interesting because the yellow and very yellow leaning green are opposite to purple on the colour wheel. So you could layer them to neutralize the purple down or build it up on its own to really pop separately from each other. Really interesting especially if one or the other is more or less opaque than the others.
That's honestly the only thing in this video that I'm actively interested in. It's different. I'm going to have to swatch in person, though - Chanel's quads are either amazing or my undertones eat them until they're nothing, and there isn't really an in-between.

Interesting... Those feel like Spring colours to me though
@@jfb919 could be for sure though I’d argue the mustard yellow is more toward late summer harvest / fall than spring. It’s a neat combo from a colour theory perspective either way - in the spring you could flip it so you’re using mostly the yellow and green and adding the purples for smoke and depth.
Another content creator said that the Rare BEauty powder with the lid open looked like a toilet bowl. No I can't unsee it
It’s kind of a carry over concept from the Rose Inc. brand. Several of her compacts were shaped similarly. Many people were making the toilet bowl comment w the Rose Inc compacts too. They definitely resemble a toilet bowl!

That 394 Chanel eyeshadow palette looks like the perfect colour combo for creating a bruise 😂 - and is it just me who thinks that photo of the Rare Beauty powder looks like a load of toilet seats with the lid part way up 🤔
Nothing really caught my eye except the new mini ND pallet (but if you say that the midi is on the way than it makes sense to wait till the next release and then make up my mind which one I actually need ) and MUFE pallets! Omg I’m obsessed with makeup forever! I definitely think you should give it a try at least. I think you’ll be impressed with MUFE hd skin foundation and the new renovated blushes.
The Natasha Denona mini rose has 4 repeat shades with the exception of the ivory shade. Just a heads up.
I love Make Up For Ever, I am very picky with texture, finish, color, etc. In general, this company it’s a safe choice. Good quality and the price is reasonable. Pat Mcgrath with their cardboard quads look so cheap, I saw other launch photos, at first glance we wondered if it wasn't Colorpop. Super video Charlotte 💛🇨🇦
I love makeup forever artist pencils, you can use them for eyeliner, lip liner, contouring, anything on the face, some are not for the eyes, you just have read the description online and they will tell which ones, i tend to buy mine for eyeliner and lip liner.
I love makeup forever. Saw the lipstick lesbian go to Paris and show the history behind the brand (40yrs old) so their products are really great! I want the eye pallette! I def have always loved everything I have from them ! ❤
Hi sweetie.. You should try Makeup forever.. it has my favorite foundation shade and quality since the 90s .. and I will continue to use their foundation forever 😆❤ .. and you can't miss trying their lip pencils range and eyeliner pens are all amazing colors and long lasting ❤

Everyone already said it, but makeuo forever is a solid brand. Love the ultra HD foundation, powder foundation, pressed powder, lip pencils. Good price points and excellent quality. Oh and the cream face palette is SO GOOOD!!!

The Nars lipsticks are a big yes for me. The Audacious line is fabulous so I’m hoping it’s similar!

Isn’t Wherever Walnut their lip, eye and cheek pencil shade? I think it’s like a mauve-y pinky brown so basically the bottom right shade is a pretty good match for the lip pencil 😅🥰 and yes I would be interested in makeup forever content 👍🏼👍🏼🤩

Charlotte if you ever want a powder that isn't matte based but gives you a lit from within glow try Hourglass Ambient Light powder; it's a mixture of a luminescent powder & slight bit of highlighter. I absolutely love it!

Oh of course! There isn't a midi rose is there! Clever!
The ND mini palette has three repeat shades from Retro.
Also, the pictures of the PML quads and the swatches look like completely different palettes.
I threw out most of my eyeshadow pallets last year and purchased on sale new ones for my use. I don't need to buy a pallet or single for a long time.

i’m always cautious adding a new brand to my collection, makes it harder to resist new launches! i did try make up forever recent palette launch with cream concealers, blushes, contours after seeing it in Michele Wang and have travelled with it which worked brilliantly 😊

Well..looks like a dark stormy blue/grey shade on Doja. I love those shades! But i think they patted some of the pink shift highlighter of the orchid quad onto her cheeks.

I swore off eyeshadow palettes ...but like any addict I was having problems resisting the new ND quint...it's in my cart! But my pulse literally quickened when you said she is coming out with a midi in that color story! Thank you, now I will properly resist the quint and relapse when the midi launches, not sure I should thank you for feeding my obsession...Thank you Charlotte!
Hi, just saying: I like the colors in the Chanel 394 a lot! I don't feel like dissing them at all! I have brown eyes and that yellow and others look good on me except I'm a "winter" or an "autumn" and the green is probably a little too light in tone for me. But alas, I would never spend so much on an eyeshadow palette anyway.
All of it is an easy pass for me. But excited to hear your thoughts on PM.

I love your eyeshadow! I kept thinking how beautiful it looked today.
I love Nudestix, they have wonderful colors and they do go well all over the face for natural looks.
Three of the shades from the ND Mini Rose are from Midi Retro, and one is in Green-Brown and 5-pan palette number 13, and the final shade is in Purple-Blue and 5-pan palette number 8.
Oh gosh a midi rose? I got my first two pallets and love them.

Oh dear, you were quite unsatisfied today! 😉I´m not into Chanel eyeshadows, too, but the mustard and green colours in their new palette do intrigue me. Not so much the violets though, so I´ll wait for looks and reviews. I´m also quite interested in the new Two Faced palette. I´ve never seen this one before and the colour story is my typical fall palette (these are usually the colours that suit me best). I have only their Pumpkin palette and that is my treasured one. The new "apple" one I do not need, but ... I´ll see. Thank you for nice and informative video!

Hi dear Charlotte, this was so much fun to watch, thanks!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 Eyeshadow addict here, but sensitive eyes the last years, so no PMG products, and would i purchase them if i could, don't know, where her more sophisticated stuff, like Divine Rose no. 1 and Ritualistic Rose, those 2 combined so gorgeous! But love my new Bobbi Brown Milkey Way quad which has a bit this idea, only a little more subtle and the formula is so much more easy! Also love the other cooler BB quad, forgot the name, late here. Chanel, i have to check out the one with a purple family in it, hazel/khaki eyes here. Thanks Charlotte, loved to see and listen this!!!😘😘😘😘

I received the NARS lipstick in Liaison to review and it is excellent. Very hydrating. Reminds me of the Bobbi Brown lipstick without the expired or rancid smell. They do wear off though, not the most long wearing. Still nice.
Lol @ wilted grass green - I really enjoy your videos ms C! As for Chanel- I have been testing their shadows and find them much more powdery than in the past. I obviously will not even look at these new ones as I don’t like them either. My grandma had a parrot 🦜 with those colors 😂 Thanks for a fun video!

Looking at Doja Cat’s eyeshadow…*IF* it came out of an as yet unreleased Mothership…the colors I see on her eyes are shimmery silver and matte charcoal grey. What other shades might one find in that color story? MAYBE pink. MAYBE purple. Very cool toned, so I doubt there would be gold. Anyway, I’m just theorizing. 🧐🤔🤓
I wonder if the MUA was using that lightest color from the Orchid palette as the highlight color on Doja's eyes and also as highlighter on her cheeks.
@@dragondawn420 possibly. The swatch of the lightest color looked purple, though, rather than silver. You never know with her swatches, though.

The Nudestix stacks reminds me of the Subtl Stack makeup brand. I have one for long haul flights and it works well for that purpose, but it has all the things you need in 1 stack not just cheek products.

Charlotte, you have the BEST sense of humor on TH-cam in my opinion especially watching your WIBI series! Your comments on the new Rare Beauty powder, the Makeup Forever eyeshadow palettes had me laughing out loud! I love the products I own from Makeup Forever their powder foundation is such a holy grail product for me, the newest foundation is beautiful and I’m actually wearing it today and also the Artist eye and lip pencils are amazing! I think Forever Walnut eyeshadow palette would look really beautiful on you! it The Too Faced glitter shades intrigue me they are beautiful and Magic Sprinkles is the glitter ✨ shade I would get too but I want to watch some reviews first.
The new NARS lipsticks are quite pretty but $40 dollars for one shade took me back!
I thought the same thing with the new Too Faced eyeshadow palette. I looked at it and the way they placed the shades is very all over the place and what’s up with that one green shade?

I agree about multiuse products, I don’t like them either. Like Danessa Myricks colorfix. Love them as eyeshadow, but as a consequence of their staying power on the eyes, they’re obviously too dry for my lips. Sometimes though a product can work as blush and lipstick
Actually I’m excited by the Nudestix blushes as it’s different from what’s on the market and the stick ones they have already launched are excellent quality

The new ND mini rose palette looks lovely, I would probably get that as I have no pink palettes. Pity no UK release, guess we'll just have to wait until it comes to cult beauty or selfridges. The Rare beauty powder looks interesting, I did not like the loose one but the pressed looks better plus more shades, because none of the loose powder shades were for me.
They wee off my radar too until I tried the blush. The blushes are Bomb so creamy and smooth on the skin. Kinda like the YSL bronzer. They’re not glowy but smooth
Murgen Turner used this Too Face singles on her eyelids,without any problem.There was some fallout but really minimum.What Im interested in thees is the PM orchid lilac,green quad.I will get that for sure and the Too Face singles ❤ Ty hun
My only issue with Chanel eyehadows is, they are not pigmented.
Those Nudestix Stax definitely appeal to me, like stacking the Trinny London pots, but larger and with a mirror. I do like a cream-to-powder too.

I never purchase from ND website unless she is having a sale and I can meet the shipping minimum. The mini Rose was at Sephora US the day after launch so I ordered from there as usual to get free shipping plus the rewards points. Even though I have these shades in the midi Retro, I love a mini even when not traveling. It's gorgeous, and the formula is definitely different.
I’ve seen a PMG mothership coming soon post somewhere and thought it was with the Doja Cat colour - thought you’d know more than me, Charlotte, so didn’t send it to you 🤦🏼♀️
I’m literally obsessed with checking every day several times watching out for the launch of the ND Rose eye palette, that first shade is what I’ve been wanting for years & always miss out on & the other shades look right up my street. I only have the ND glam pallet so can justify buying this one despite having tons of other brands eyeshadows😆

My main issue with ND is the pictures always make the shades look cooler than they are in person! I love cool-toned shadows and the pictures always intrigue me, but I have to see it in person before I even entertain purchasing.
