i would lean more on the 'not favored', because not all students are fitted for military work. there are people we need to appease like, for example, disabilities, physical capabilities and similar scenarios.

I disagree, I know that there should be a strong manpower for a country but making the ROTC mandatory won't help Because 1st not all student is capable of having the right mentality to be served in a training where there's going to be a lot of violent events, 2nd The stress that we students hold is overflowing because of expectations, school works, and layer upon layer tasks, last but not the least 3rd students aren't only school, home, school, home we also have our own minds we already have a lot to do, then there's ROTC getting in the way can we students atleast have our own time focusing on ourselves rather than fulfilling all those things that the government wants us To do, What a selfish life we live in. If the Philippine Government wants ROTC then it should've been just Voluntary because there is so many people who's going to be against Mandatory.

but it's also a big opportunity for us for example we got rejected or we failed to achieve our main dream at least we have a reserve job.
