Let's Play Hardcore Minecraft 1.20.4 Episode 4! Today we continue a brand new Minecraft adventure and if we die, then it's all over! In this episode we build a massive custom overgrown nether portal tree next to the starter house! I used Complementary Reimagined Unbound Shaders when recording this episode. I also use the resource pack called Fancy 2.0 GUI Overhaul. I hope that all of these videos can help people out there sleep, relax, and/or study. Thank you so much for watching!

Finding three rib armour trims in the same fortress is INSANELY RARE
The easiest way to find bastions and fortresses if you have already found one is to head north or south from the first one. They generate pretty much in a line. Beautiful portal design.

you should totally put spore blossoms on the tree it would make it even more magical
ik this vid was 2 weeks ago but some cool detail for the tree could be crying obsidian in some parts in the tree like the portal is bleeding off or poisoning the tree

I’ve never been a fan of tree portals, don’t like the other ones I’ve seen but once again you surprise me wax. I’ll make it to a stream eventually need more content haha

U should build a second tree in the nether but use nether blocks and make it look like the over world is leaking out into the nether

Actually when you show the tree at the end, it made me feel like it could be in the middle of a cemetery. I was imagining a very mysterious, lush and whimsical graveyard all the way around the tree and I loved the vibe.

Yess! Dark oak matches the spruce logs soooo much better!! Dark oaks logs are too cooled toned for its wood variants & the spruce variants are too light colored unless you are using stripped spruce. BUT, stopped spruce is a great block to texture regular oak logs or vice versa. Try it out sometime!! & before I go, great work so far on the new series! I’m loving it!!

Just so you know, you can shoot ghast fireballs with arrows to send them back or away.
It can't rain all the time.
You can turn on glowing armor trim in the shaders settings

One thing is for sure, on Java the nether is always on easy mode. On console/bedrock the mob spawns are so constant and so heavy that one can hardly get anything done.
