I live at a lonely one runway airport in Northern Ontario. I have often thought of it being the ideal hiding spot for RL-206.
Many Cadets from here contribute to National Security. I am moved with pride when a new episode comes out and always use them as a go to when I have time to watch. Thank you for this triumph to Canadian culture.

In these times, you are actually inspiring us to carry on.
Query: Can you re-label the episodes to be 1,2,3,4,5,... etc? It would be easier to find an old one to share. For example, I searched but could not find Bob and Doug's impromptu swim, And was pissed at myself.
BTW: Vision still holding at 33%. I got a bigger monitor! I can read the text, now! I wanted an even bigger one, but money and space issues prevented that. But like 206, I may "see" an enhancement near the end of the year!

Hi Virtual, since this series is sort of "Science-FACTion" , for the next upcoming adventures, I have an Idea that might just go along with what is happening for the past few years and has become obvious since our election in the USA was (most likely) stolen and total control of the country given up to Big Government-Big Media-Big Tech Big-Banks Big-Corp Complex all wanting to get into bed with the Chinese Communist Party to take advantage of all that cheap labour and now cheap Concentration camp labour AND Organ Harvesting of Political dissidents especially the Chinese Muslims (all this information is available from 'China Uncensored' they even have a very recent video on Trudeau wanting to get into bed with the Chinese Government and wont admit to the Canadian people that the C.C.P. is committing Genocide.) The Russians are even having problems with the Chinese, and recently blocked them in 3 strategic shipping routes and they are not sharing all their internet secrets either. Putin is actually alot easier to deal with than the C.C.P. who want total control of the world. (There is a video on this too.) (....or maybe you can look at this as "The Enemy of Our Enemy is OUR Friend .......after a few more Arrow vs. whatever russian plane or multiple plane-formation ...... the Russians realize they should make peace with the Canadians after the Chinese start attacking India again ! .....The Chinese has recently attacked India and have threatened Russia very recently. (The Chinese also have a good number of their own copies of some of the high performance Russian planes and some of their own new unique high performance fighters). .........I am Just throwing this idea out there for you to help follow along with the recent unfolding history ......the Canadians might need more Arrows but we cant trust the Gov. of Canada OR the USA because Trudeau or 'Biden'(really Bidens puppet-masters) would just as easily Gift it to the C.C.P.!! (by the way the Arrow originally was a little too nose heavy in supersonic flight and the trim up tabs at full "trim-up position" acted like a speed brake, so by making the 'trim' function act across the whole span of the 'elevons' , moving a few things around to get the CG back, and a little trim function built into the vectoring nozzles, and you could add another 200 to 300mph to the top speed of the plane (there was the case of the older Mig-25's built out of stainless steel and actually beat the top-speed record with their original short but powerful (low internal resistance) turbo-jet got to Mach 3.7 and beat the SR-71, but the plane couldn't hold a steady altitude within 100M in a 50 or 100KM run) The Iroquois engines were also designed as low internal resistance turbojets in order to get better gas mileage than a typical turbojet where a ram-jet actually starts to get better gas mileage than a turbojet at a bit past Mach 2, ....the Iroquois engines were leaner burning than a typical pure turbo-jet and actually could get better gas mileage than some modern day fighter jet turbofans, like a s.f.c. of 0.8 lb/lb/hr dry & 1.3 lb/lb/hr w afterburner. If a Mig-25 could hit M3.7 ther is no reason why the Arrow (with more than twice as much wing area/weight = less lift drag, the major cause of drag at higher altitudes and slower speeds) could touch Mach 4.

    • @Virtualenvirons
      @Virtualenvirons  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi David.....Lot's to think about and somewhat difficult to respond to as there are many topics in your post. You brought up your election. I have many American friends and they are wonderful people...until you bring up politics and then the guns come out. I do not think your election was not stolen, Trump just lost the election. You could wright pages on why, but it boils down to Fascism vs Democracy and this time democracy won, but Fascism is strong in the U.S. now.
China is a problem, but not really a military threat. Like Russia their forces are designed around a defensive posture. China's real threat to the West is economic. Unfortunately America finds itself the major target and as we are tied to the hip to the U.S.....Canada is affected.
Removing nuclear weapons from the equation, neither Russia or China thinks offence in terms of the U.S. They have always been on a defensive posture in regard to the U.S. Military. The U.S. military is designed to attack first and then defend. Russia's doctrine is to defend first and then attack if possible, when it comes to the U.S.
I have no knowledge of the speed brake stabilizer comment, but I have no reason to disagree, it would make sense.
The Mig-25. Piece of crap. As you pointed out it could not hold a straight line, but that was more at low speed. Most Mig-25 losses were trying to land the thing. To a previous point, it was designed in a hurry to combat the XB-70 Valkyrie bomber. U.S. built 2 bombers and Russia built nearly 500 Mig-25's. Huge waist of money. Sometimes you have to admire the CIA.
The Iroquois were amazing. The fuel economy if you can call it that, may have come from the way the fuel was injected into the combustion chamber. With engines of the period and for sometime after, fuel was injected as a mist. With the Iroquois fuel was injected as a vapour which is common today....regards....Virtual

@@Virtualenvirons Hi Virtual, I found a couple links to China Uncensored that you might find interesting, (as a disclaimer, I am critiquing the governments , I have nothing against the actual people of other countries, I have no beef with the actual individuals/people of Russia , Canada, China, USA,......... The leaders of the countries is a different story, As I see it , the press in general has been very unfair to 'populists'(ex. Reagan, Trump, Tulsi Gabbart.....) and have almost always been 'cheerleaders' for the 'Establishment"(ex.the Bush's, Clinton's.....) Notice how it's not so important whether someone is conservative or liberal , fiscally or socially , ....they can have real civilized and enlightening conversations with eachother, of course there's a little friction that can flare up , but they usually leave the conversation still friends, but extremism of anything is not good. I happen to be a Toronto Canadian born 58yo of Jewish descent, where my dad moved the immediate family to Houston, Texas, back in 1978 because conditions were such that things were a need for medical doctors in the southern parts of the US, and things were getting politically hostile for alot of doctors in Canada. I finished high-school and eventually a BS in Physics and worked for a short while at NASA-JSC and for reasons I will cover later ( if you want !!) I decided to follow my dad's footsteps and several years later, I got my medical degree and eventually went into practice with my dad in September 2000. " To make a short story long !" ..... I had a good 8 years of practice with my dad until the very people who we invited into our practice to help run the office proceeded to systematically steal the practice in a very ingenious and evil way (more on that later, ....if you want !!) A few years ago I suffered a back injury ( ....I can still walk, thank goodness!) but I have a psychiatric disorder that when you add the partial disabilities together, put me over 100% (more later on that ..... if you want !!) and here I am learning as much as I can and enjoying entertainment on the internet (such as your wonderfully amazing Arrow Series which I find so entertaining !! ) ........ please keep up your great work !! ...Cheers, David
      P.S. Here are a few examples of China Uncensored ; th-cam.com/video/Qqqj_zHJQZo/w-d-xo.html , th-cam.com/video/NLFMid4qVVc/w-d-xo.html ,
and here is something from Viva Frei you might find interesting any time you might have a legal/political question or curiosity , plus he sells a t-shirt and mugs that says

HI David. I am sorry to hear of your injuries, both physical and psychiatric. At 58, you have a lot of living to do. I was 58 when I walked back into a boxing gym and put on gloves again. That was eight years ago. The current plague ravaging the world has put an end I am afraid to that part of my life.
I have been a student of world politics since I started working for the Government. I still have a level 2 government security clearance even though I am retired now for 15 years. The media is not a "known science". It is somewhat unstable, but provides one constant. If something happens all the media will report it one way or another. That way you know for sure something happened. If you are partisan, you hear one side only. If you are a student of world politics, you interpret what has happened and not being said by either side. Look at other factors, like the history before the event, or the geopolitical climate, etc. But, I never really pick a side. I may vote liberal one year and conservative the next.
I don't look at China or Russia any different than America. All three want the biggest piece of the pie they can get and normally America wins, which is good for Canada. Even before the Trump years, Canada began expanding our trading partners, even though nothing compares with our cross border trade with the U.S. During the Trump years that expansion has grown bigger. You probably will be somewhat stunned by this next statement. After four years of Trump and what a deranged president has the power to do, many Canadians now see the U.S. in the same light as Germany in ~1938. If you are of Jewish descent, then you probably know what "Kristallnacht" was or the "night of broken glass". Very similar to Jan. 6 when Fascist stormed the Capital. I don't use the word Fascist as a slur, but as a definition. Fascism is very strong in the U.S. now and Trump is a very charismatic leader. There was a very Charismatic leader in Germany in 1938.
I am very happy to hear that the Arrow series brings you some happiness. I can understand why you might like it for the geopolitical under tones of my series. Many don't pick up on that, just focused on what "might have been" which is best really. I also have a very complex life in terms of employment etc, too much for a post....regards.....Virtual

@@Virtualenvirons Hi Virtual, thank you for the reply, you strike me as a genuinely good person who actually cares about what goes on locally and in the world. The concept of 'Kristallnacht' or 'Crystal Night' (or 'Night of Broken Glass' if you will...) came up alot last year, but made more sense to me as all the rioting , fires , killings, and destruction of many 'mom & pop' businesses done most notably by professional rioters (BLM & Antifa)( many funded by George Soros) , the majority of the actual protestors didn't cause trouble and most went home after the curfews. This was, in my humble opinion, much more similiar to Krystallnacht where Hitler told the mayors of the cities to tell the police to stand down while the 'Brown-Shirts'(the professional rioters at that time in history) destroyed so many Jewish owned businesses and killed alot of the owners. Now unlike Hitler, Trump kept offering to bring in the National guard to mount a defence against the professional rioters, to protect the legitimate peaceful protestors as well as the businesses, churches, private buildings as well as public facilities & monuments, but the mayors of these cities , many also funded by George Soros, were all told in 'lock-step' to tell the local police to stand down and many more people ended up getting seriously injured or killed than what happened at the Capital(even though that was bad too, but I think that was also planned , but for a different reason.) The way I see it , the establishment was trying to extinguish Trump's last chance to show evidence, on that very day, that there was some sophisticated election fraud going on(even if it wasn't enough to overturn the election). Trump was more of a populist leader than an establishment figurehead. And there were just way too many things that struck most of the people in the country as just not quite right, especially when all involved wouldn't even listen to preliminary questions, or else the investigations would still be going on. We also have to remember that Trump accomplished alot of good things in just one term, such as the Keystone-Pipeline, a Canaca-Mexico-USA Trade Deal, moving the US-Israel Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem, making a historical peace deal with many of the Middle-Eastern Nations, lowering taxes and ending many fraudulent regulations ......and many other things beneficial to the US and some other countries as well, including exposing genocide going on in China and standing up to the C.C.P. and last but not least, speeding up a program to come up with vaccines for nCOVID-19, (of course HCQ, Zinc, Vit C , Vit D [the Zelenko Protocol] could have eliminated the pandemic last April !) (unfortunately Big Pharma had to suppress that solution because cheap generic drugs that work too well would have denied them billions of dollars.)
Enough for now, more later, Cheers, David

HI David...Getting back to you a little late. Been working on something else. I am assuming that you lean or are a Republican and perhaps watch right wing news media. If not, I apologize. I am a student of world politics. Every morning I check the world news, mostly BBC and Canadian. This would be the news that 7.82 billion people see. Then I go to fox news and see what the other 72 million are getting. They are no where near the same. I can't be ambiguous about their news casting. They simply lie a lot, not all the time, but a lot.
The global news medias, left and right simply report that Trump did everything he could to hold back troops, to incite the riot, etc. In Canada, Proud Boys are now listed as a terrorist group. Trump may have done some good things, but many of them were good the U.S.A. only. Keystone would have been an exception, but for four years Canada was fighting with him to keep our negotiated trade deals in place. But, we are not without our own skills. The New Nafta is much better for us than the old one. Which means, worse for the U.S., but if another President decides not to adhere to the deal, then what good is it.
Although the world breathed a collective sigh of relief when Biden won the election and stated that "America was back", does the world want it back. We think that Trump was really out there, but what if he was not. What if the world has not seen Trumpasaurus Rex yet. Lot's to think about. regards.....Virtual
