Thank you. I needed to be reminded that I cannot control anything outside of my own choices and actions, and to surrender my wish to be in control and give it all back to God and allow myself to be joyful, and at peace in Christ. Today was a bit of an emotional day, for about a half a dozen reasons... events in my life that I cannot do anything about except to pray and leave it for the Lord to fix what I can't. I'll admit that sometimes I find it hard to let go of the reigns, putting them in His hands, allowing Him to steer the plow. Anyway, Thank you for this VERY appropriate Psalm. It describes what I have been FEELING off and on far a couple weeks. This devotion was like a message from the Lord, an answer to my spiritual groaning and prayers. Thank you. Praise God.
Sis we were always taught to be in control. All of society today is about control. Control is the one thing we don't have... So who do we turn too, Jesus. He is always in control, so when we aren't, we turn to him for all things.
Well, I deleted the multiple paragraphs and just am going to ask for prayer. I KNOW God is in control. I KNOW this is not my home, but my heart hurts to see what is happening to this country, this world. The evil is so rampant and going to be worse. I am at peace with what I know the end will be. Pray for me to be at peace through the process. Thanks family! God bless!
