Revelation 19 begins with the Marriage Feast of the Lamb and the Bride " arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints." These, along with the host of heaven, descend behind the King of kings and Lord of lords (cf., Zechariah 14:5) on the Day of His return. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 is not a RETURN of Jesus to the earth any more than it was when Jesus ascended to the Father and returned right after His resurrection, (but not before seeing Mary Magdalene who mistook Him for the Gardener - John 20:15-17) and appeared to His Disciples in a locked room.
