Love your observation that Lucy had to come to a point where she was willing to act on what she herself wanted. Not just hope someone else will "rescue" her by deciding for her, taking all the risk for her. Exactly right.
9:25 it’s a Chicago Italian accent. This movie is one of the movies that made me want to move to Chicago. I fell in love with as a fairly young kid, and now I live in Chicago and I tried to find every location in the city that they filmed in. This is one of the best romantic comedies ever.
I have been alone for too many years. To all of a sudden to have people. You would do anything to keep that. For Lucy to risk that, some writer got it right.
This is my favourite movie of all time. The dialogue between all the family members is fabulous, especially the scene round the table where they talk about Caesar Romero. It's hilarious. This used to happen in my family. So comical. Perfect cast. Perfect acting. Perfect script writing. Perfect movie. Love it.
I loved this movie so much as a kid, and I still do. Jack and Lucy have so much chemistry they make me believe it is possible to fall in love in just a week 😂
Will you please put “Return to Me” on one of your polls? It’s also a perfect Rom-Com. You will laugh and cry. Beautiful soundtrack. I can’t join you on Patreon right now, but I can’t think of another reactor who would best appreciate the movie. ✌️❤️
My favorite Sandra Bullock movie with SPEED coming in a close second. This is even better than her Oscar winning performance in The Blind Side where I thought the actress from Precious should have won. Better than Bird Box or even Gravity! Peter was in the series Law and Order and the film Summer Lovers. Lucy's older friend who gives advice Saul was in 12 Angry Men and Heaven Can Wait. The dad in the family was in Taxi Driver and the series Everybody Loves Raymond. The Ashley character played a detective on the tv show Profiler. Jack(Bill Pullman) was in tv series The Sinner and films The Equalizer/Equalizer 2. In the mood for laughs? Try the hidden GEM from the 1970s Foul Play a dramedy with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase.
I don’t think she wanted jack to bad mouth Peter. She wanted jack to say that he loves her. But besides that, I agree. As a brother, jack did right by keeping his mouth shut
I knew you would love this movie. Its so cool knowing bits in a movie rhat are coming up and waiting to see your reaction. Strangely conforming and it gives moments of peace in a weary life. Thank-you
other Christmas movies you should watch are if haven't already are 1.Home Alone 2.Scrooge 1951 3.Elf 4.Bad Santa 5.Scrooged 6.Surviving Christmas 7.Four Christmases 8.The Santa Clause 9.Christmas With the Kranks 10.Die Hard
KSO! You really hit it when you mentioned the soundtrack. Good ears! Randy Edelman wrote the most gorgeous themes for this movie, which added a LOT to its appeal. (If you've ever seen "Kindergarten Cop," you may have remembered the beautiful music from that film. If not, just remember Edelman did the music for that one too. I LOVE this movie!!! :)
Catching up as missed a chunk of your vids, this is one of my favs...and you are wonderful to watch when reacting...i find you funny and adorable like I'm watching with a friend ❤
I love this movie! You're going to love it. It is a Christmas movie and it's hilarious:) one of my favorite Sandra Bullock movies , I miss seeing her in films. Enjoy ❤❤ Merry Christmas, Kemi 🎅 🎄 🎄 🎅 ❤❤
In my opinion the laziest writing of this film was Jor el telling Clark that the exposure to the red son of Krypton would strip of his powers forever. As a child practically a baby Clark had immediate access to at least the strength part of his powers. Zod and the others had pretty much immediate access to those Kryptonian powers mere moments free of the phantom zone, when all exposure they would have had before was Krypton or the phantom zone. It stands to reason that while inside the fortress of solitude Clark's powers and invulnerability are absent, though I consider that a bit of a stretch as he'd still be exposed to the radiation from our sun, even if not direct sunlight, that the moment he went somewhere where there was full exposure to earth's sun his powers would have been restored immediately. Or, at least restored eventually. Nitpicking I know but it bothers me.
The grandma is played By Glynis Johns why played mrs banks in mary poppins and had just turned 100 years old the oldest living oscar nominee and oldest living disney legend.
When I lived in Sicily, Italy, I dated an Italian man named Giovanni Parisi. OMG, I don't know about anyone else's experience but for me, the stories are true. Italians are very romantic and handsome. Lawd a mercy. This guy in the movie, that's Brooklyn not Italian.
As an Italian, I'm also confused with the bronx accent bc even in other shows doesn't matter if they're of Vietnamese origin or Irish or who knows from god knows where, they all sound like southern Italian speaking american. I would like to know from Chicago people what's going on. Did the Italian accent and pizza take over all of chicago?
Since you love Christmas so much, I want to share with you a few Christmas/Solstice songs you have (probably!) never heard before. My dad used to write Christmas music every year, and my sister has managed to make recordings of a few of his songs. I hope you enjoy these, and Merry Christmas! 🎄🎶 th-cam.com/play/PLk3y51N34lrLHSmhPvYDoI1x_2f8umg6A.html&si=Su8eCMKKSCCHB-1j
I can watch this over and over and over again ❤
And one more time after that!
Just realised this could be classified as a Christmas movie! 😅 with that revelation, I will officially announce this is my favourite Christmas movie!
Grandma was the "mother" on Mary Poppins. Great movie
I love this movie, it’s one of my comfort movies ❤️ so glad you are reacting to it
Love your observation that Lucy had to come to a point where she was willing to act on what she herself wanted. Not just hope someone else will "rescue" her by deciding for her, taking all the risk for her. Exactly right.
I love your breakdown as to why Jack didn't try to pull her away from Peter. Great insight!
Best romcom. I love that Peter isn't a villain. I feel like nowadays that's how they'd make his character. His actor had such great comedic timing.
He’s a great singer as well. He was in the Idolmaker an early 80’s movie.

Best movie ever. I fell in love with Jack just as Lucy did.
I have been alone for too many years. To all of a sudden to have people. You would do anything to keep that. For Lucy to risk that, some writer got it right.
This is my Christmas movie…. I watch it every year while I wrap presents. Love it’s in Chicago. I know every location. 😊❤️🎄
Me too!

I love this movie so much why don’t they make them like this anymore 😢
You picked up on Glynnis Johns from Mary Poppins- good catch!
Gosh, that movie makes me cry every time! :)
Grandma is the mother from Marry Poppins.
One of my favorite movie proposals. And one of my favorite movie families. They're up the with the family from My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
This and "The Lake house" are my favs
It’s soooo good, warm like a hug. I love sandy and this movie

Don’t forget the dad, Peter Boyle, was also the monster in Mel Brook’s Frankenstein.
I loved what you said at the end about loving him for him and not as an alternitive. It's so important and not many talk about it.
I don’t think she wanted jack to bad mouth Peter. She wanted jack to say that he loves her. But besides that, I agree. As a brother, jack did right by keeping his mouth shut
I'm sick and feeling under the weather, but this is the perfect medicine😊 Thank you for the beautiful reaction video 💚
I knew you would love this movie.

I watch this every Christmas, it's such a wholesome and warm film. Too bad not a lot of people know or talk about this gem 💎
I love this movie, I was probably 12 or 13 when I watched it the first time and since then every year for Christmas. And the soundtrack is so perfect!
This is my second favorite movie ever and my absolute favorite RomCom! So glad you're watching it! ❤

Wonderful romantic movie with young Keanu Reeves: "A Walk in the Clouds". Consider reacting!

Woooowwwww🥰🥰🥰 u fortunately there are stories on Instagram about them being racist etc. I’ve always wanted to go to Italy.
@@ScenecrlyK.S.O. I'm gonna be honest with you. Italians are racist but Sicilians love us and consider themselves a part of Africa.
I adore this film! I love that it’s in my city! I ❤️ Chicago!
You have to watch "Last Christmas" my new favorite Christmas movie
I would love to see you react to The Bridges of Madison County
This is a great romantic comedy and Christmas 🎄 movie! Great review and reaction! Merry Christmas 🎄 ❄️☃️!
