i worked at Lowes and Kobalt was the first cordless tool system i really got into because i could get them cheap on clearance/display model deals. started out with a 6pc combo kit that i nabbed for $99! even now that I have other brands like Flex, Milwaukee etc I still have to say that all my Kobalt tools have worked very well and are great quality, probably one of the best values on the market for what you pay vs what you get.
I've been on a kobalt buying spree the last couple weeks. Incredible deals for brushless tools! Plus those battery starter kits that come with a free tool are completely killer!
