If you have a microplane (or similar sharp narrow grater) I just freeze tumeric/ginger whole and grate straight from frozen. The microplane minces the skin so small you don't notice it.
Girl! I DONT DO LEFTOVERS and my love for Asian food of course I was excited to watch your meal prep! This was so helpful normally I chop and prep like a restaurant I love the fact that Asian Cuisine is generally freshly cooked so I chop and prep my veggies and my protein and I silk the meats that I'm going to use but not in a million years did I think to prep a simple broth or make sauces into ice cubes girl you're freaking genius! I heard the black pepper helps absorb the turmeric even in a tv show turmeric without black pepper turmeric is not going to be absorbed, love your cute and closed kitchen
Nice video, alot of useful tips especially with the daikon noodles and broth. You did a good job with this long video, editing looked good to me and you put the music in nice too. The lighting seemed great and you spoke nice too for the entirety of the video.I say you did a good job
Agh, so glad I found your channel! I think it's only a matter of time before you blow up:) I've been wanted to expand my repertoire of Asian recipes but it's a learning process to understand how to use the basic ingredients. So, so fun to play with new flavors, though!
1. I like to add a little "heat" to my Japchae. Goes well with the veggies I find. 2. Great idea with the ice cube maker. I make coffee ice cubes with the maker. ❄️☕ 3. Just a comment. There are a lot of choices of Sake to choose from. Some are downright wicked but most are good to cook with or drink. 4. I was wondering when you were going to use the leaves from your plant in the foreground. 😝 (Silver Swan?) 5. I like the background music choice. "Happy Ukulele Music" 👍
Always struggle to plan affordable lunches at uni - found this channel a couple of days ago and it's a life saver, so much inspiration! Also all the vegan dimsum - finally I can eat all my favourites again! So great, keep it up! 😄
