Many of the language was written in Koine not Greek for a proper
term. By knowing the term Koine, you would therefore understand that it was a language chosen for everyone.
    Wonderful teaching Dr Barukh.

I am so Blessed to have found your studies. Thank you. And yes sadly the Word of our Lord, is being twisted and miss handled by too many today. I don't believe in woman preaching. Unfortunately today, men are trying to be woman and woman want to be men. No I am not just talking about the gay life style, but in how men and woman are behaving. Men don't want to do any heavy lifting, they want easy lives where they don't have to do more than sit in a chair and type. Then you have woman who want to go be pro boxers and wrestling maniacs, and want to be like men doing men's jobs. We where not designed for it. What is going on. The world has flipped. OK we know what's going on. Jesus warned us of it. But wow I never thought it would be this crazy. We need to hang on to Jesus with all we have, because we are in for one crazy rough ride. But wow how Glorious will His return be. Blessings to you and your ministry.

It’s not that she’s not a good expounded of the word because she could be better than any man however the point is that God authorized the man to teach and lead his household and that includes the church as well. Meaning a woman cannot have dominion over man rather he must be the first one to teach and lead. This does not exclude women from making exegesis of the word of God. Even more so now that the gospel has been spread to all and like Paul said there is nothing to divide. We are all made participants of sharing the gospel and teaching others of the grace of God. Beautiful . I believe many people distort this even if unwillingly

Very excited to start this journey in parallel to Tom Bradford's work in Matthew as well.
    The
I will as you what I asked him, The Genealogy of Matthew despite what the translation says in Matthew's lineage, Vs 17 Thus there were fourteen (14) generations in all from Abraham to David ( which there is if one counts them), fourteen (14) from DAvid to the Exile to Babylon ( which there is when one counts them), and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah. ( Here is where we run into a problem From the exile to Messiah, as recorded in Matthew is NOT 14 generations, it is 13.
If we begin in Matthew 1: 2. and we expect there to be 14X3 (sections of geneology denotations) is 42 (names /generation) that we should expect.
If we align Both Luke and Matthew's geneology they parellel from Abraham (where Matthew begins) all the way up to David. And then... It splits. Matthew takes on Solomon's Line. Luke takes up Nathan's line. This is a problem because both attest right up to the Birth of Messiah "Joseph THE FATHER OF "Messiah" . So.. who is right? Was it Nathan's line, Or Solomon's line that we find Messiah born from? This is imperative to understand the CORRECT lineage to DAVID.
In Matthew's lineage, Joseph's father is said to be "Jacob"
In Luke's lineage, Joseph's father is said to be Heli.
Joseph (Husband of Mary) cannot have 2 father's. Which is the correct line.
Is it possible Shem Tov's Hebrew Matthew accounts it correctly? Where the Yosef described as abi Miraim ( Joseph father of Miriam Mother of Jesus... could indeed be the correct lineage?
Are we not to consider the literal biological blood line of Jesus back to DAvid for a prophetic validiation of Jesus' rightful heriitage to king/kinship of David?
These are the questions I have that no one wants to take on
    Abraham
    Isaac
    Jacob
    Judah
    Perez
    Hezron
    Ram
    Amminadab
    Nahshon
    Salmon
    Boaz
    Matthews geneology Obed
So the 14 generations from Abraham to DAvid. Jesse
    Matthew's accounting David
    1. Abraham * Nathan * the lineage dramatically differs. from here on out .
    2. Isaac Mattatha
    3. Jacob Menna
    4. Judah Melea
    5. Perez Eliakim
    6.. Hezron Jonam
    7. Ram Joseph
    8.. Amminadab Judah
    9. Nahshon Simeon
    10. Salmon Levi
    11. Boaz Mattat
    12. Obed Jorim
    13. Jesse Eliezer
    14 David Joshua
Then the 14 Generations from David to the Exile.
    1. Solomon Er
    2. Rehoboam Elmadam
    3.Abijar Cosam
    4. Asa Addi
    5.Jehosphaphat Melki
    6. Abijah Neri
    7. Jehoram Sheltiel
    8 Uzziah Zerubbabel
    9 Jotham Rhesa
    10. Ahaz Joanan
    11. Hezekiah Joda
    12. Manasseh Josech
    13. Amon Semein
    14. Josiah Mattathias
So vs. 12. "After the Exile to Babylon:
    1. Jeconiah Maath
    2. Shealtiel Naggai
    3. Zerubbabel Esli
    4. Abiud Nahum
    5. Eliakim Amos
    6. Azor Mattathias
    7. Zadok Josef
    8. Akim Jannai
    9. Eliud Malki
    10. Eleazar Levi
    11. Matthan Mattat
    12. Jacob Heli
    13. Joseph "Husband of Mary". Joseph ( Luke's words "thought to be" father of Jesus)
    14 Messiah Messiah
The Luke accounting is dramatically different after King David, following Nathan's line, all the way down to Mary

@@cr3684 No they won't touch it with a 10 foot pole :) It is an issue and WHY the Jews in Israel continue to STUMP Christians and Pastor on the Blood Line Lineage of Jesus... who, according to scripture MUST BE a DIRECT (bloodline) decendant of David. Of course we know through MARY that happens. BUT Luke and Matthew's "english' translated lineage do NOT connect those dots. The ONLY think I have seen that remotely makes a direct bloodline connection from Mary to David is the Hebrew Matthew accounting where the last connection is "Josephy the father of Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
The lineage translation has literally been lost and therefore easily dismissed by "jews" seeking to undermine Yeshua's direct bloodline lineage.

Two very simple/easy adjustments to scriptural interpretation can remove all the convoluted theories and assumptions which have stirred mass confusion into these genealogies.
      One: there are TWO Jeconiahs!
Two: Matthew 1:16 has a scribal error, and should read “Joseph FATHER of Mary”!
These two give a non-cursed royal lineage to Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.
There ARE alternate ancient manuscripts which have Matthew 1:16 reading “Joseph FATHER of Mary”. Correcting to “Joseph FATHER”, completes the name list to 42, as Matthew states in verse 17.
The Matthew 1:11 Jeconiah IS the son of Josiah. This Jeconiah is the 2nd name for Johanan firstborn son of Josiah.
The 1 Chron 3:15 Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim is the nephew of the other (Matt 1:11). This Jeconiah is the one who is cursed. Matthew did not error at 1:11. Secular scholars have browbeaten us Christians for 2000 years into thinking Matthew dropped Jehoiakim. And we have beaten ourselves up with a multitude of conflicted theories to their amusement.
Mary is NOT a Levite. Elizabeth being old and barren is Mary's great or great-great Aunt or 2nd/3rd cousin removed. Merely a relative, not a close cousin.
Mary’s marriage to her HUSBAND Joseph transfers her royalty to him and Jesus per Numbers 36.
All the Levirate theories execute the process all wrong. They are flawed and don’t work!
It’s going to be hard for all we Christians to swallow some pride and discard the huge mess we have been coerced into these last 2000 years.
Bottom line, Matthew 1 is Mary's royal lineage and it’s NOT cursed. Jesus qualifies!

Was it intentional that you skipped over the controversial "Rhachab" in verse 5? Dr. Kormon you are always so good about pointing out error and the verifying all things in the Greek. Rhachab in the Greek is a different name than that of "Rahab the harlot" of Jericho. It's a common error in Christianity that Christians teach that Rahab the harlot became the mother of Boaz. Yeshua did not descend from a harlot.

    • @angelaryanrnbsn2764
      @angelaryanrnbsn2764 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

He didn't skip it he just didn't read that portion. Rahab was the wife of Salmon, the father of Boaz. The lineage from the Father's side is what is documented, the maternal documentation is mentioned as relevant for context.

There is not a single verse in the Tanakh that says Rahab the Canaanite married anyone and her descendants (if she even had any) are not recorded. For over 1000 years not a single word about her anywhere and then someone with a similar name is claimed by whoever wrote Matthew to be an ancestor of Yeshua with no documentation. What is important is that Yeshua is a descendant of King David.
Tamar was no prostitute. She only POSED as one to get pregnant by her father-in-law Judah who did not give his other son in marriage to her as commanded by God to replace his other son (her deceased husband).
Ruth converted and her Gentile past is not to be held against her. Read Ezekiel 47. The convert becomes as a native-born of Israel with inheritance. Thus saith the LORD.

If you are going to not permit a woman to teach, then you need to burn every book a woman of GOD every wrote, because that is a woman teaching. When it comes to Paul's commands, they do not equal the Law given by YHVH. When it comes to that kind of "gray" subject, we need to go back to the 613 Laws given to Moses, not what a commentator says in a letter in response to an issue a church was having. The ONLY commandments we need to obey is GOD's that HE Himself personally gave us. Paul's letter are not equal to the Law in the Torah.
I personally do not believe in women pastors, but I don't believe in pastors in general. Yeshua is our pastor. There is too much room for error when we man a man our "Rabbi." Yeshua said that we have only One Rabbi and that is him. I don't believe a woman should be head of the household or spiritual head of the family, UNLESS she is married to an ungodly man. Some of us are/were. Mine was so ungodly that he divorced me after 37 years. He walked away from GOD after being a "Christian" for 25 years, and destroyed his family. Now our five adult offspring are following in their earthly father's footsteps because G-D has allowed him to not only get away with it, but He has rewarded him with riches and a job promotion. I am the ONLY one seeking after Elohim. I sit up in my room, all alone and cry for the family I lost.

Kristina L Allen. Oh no, you are never alone. The Lord our God, is always with you, and his Word is never a lie. If you brought your children up in the Word, and they know Jesus, just keep praying, there is nothing God cannot do and He will bring them back. Yes people can back slide, yes we can push aside our Lord and chase the world, but Jesus said He never leave us or for sakes us. Prayer is the strongest weapon we have. Keep praying and believing, that one day your children will return to the truth.
